Online Check Script

hmm onskinstart, I did not use that, just put the command line in. I will try that when I get home after work.

leave the line you have now you can choose either of these ways.

add it to the startcommand in your rr.ini

if you have nothing in that line just put ONLINECHECK , if you do have somthing there add
|| these between each cmd

or in your exectbl file leave the line you have and put

"ONSKINSTART","ONLINECHECK"

both of these will start ONLINECHECK for you, and yes there is an option for not showing the icon, but its yet to be invisable for me , dose'nt matter what setting i put there.

Make sure you have the latest online check version...it hides for me.

Loaded JohnWPB's skin helper and watched Onlinecheck, it was loaded. Ran it in the car today, but no luck. I just left the settings you have in the ini file. Is there anything else I need to do?

Also I like that you have indicator Labels, how do I get them to show?

how do you mean no response , the script just detects the internet is there , and you can set cmds in the .ini to do what you want to do when internet is detected, if you use the label codes above this should show when internet is found.
if you look in the .ini you will find in 1 line RELOADWEATHER , this is a cmd thatonlinecheck will run when internet detected,

Thank you for the clarification Carputer, just as I assumed. Then dont know why it is not updateing the weather. I can drive by a hotspot and manually click "reloadweather" and it does no problems.

I keep playing with it, thanks so much on showing me how to do the indicators. My next step is to try and use them to see if it is dedecting hotspots.
