Can you check out my latest reply to this thread:

I am not sure if this a bug or not, is there any chance you can try it yourself or advise me if I am lost. I've never had this much trouble with anything roadrunner but I've finally decided to get rid of that damned pop and its given me issues.

I will look @ SerialSwitch and see if I can find anything. I don't use suspend/resume, so I'll have to do some testing with it...

I'm trying to use this to trigger hibernate. I installed it to C:\Program Files\RideRunner.

Guino said to use this- "ONCTS_ON","HIBERNATE" (with the quotes I assume) does this go into the ExecTBL.ini? I put it there and when I short pins 7 and 8 on the com port I see CTS come on in the serialswitch gui but it doesn't trigger hibernate. Does it matter where I put this in the ExecTBL.ini? Also, exactly what do I need to do to get this to load with RR and restart when I resume from hibernate?

    Thanks,

    Chris

OK, I managed to get it to hibernate, but when it reboots it tries to hibernate again right away despite the connection between pins 7 and 8 being broken. I still haven't figured out how to get the program to load when RR starts, I'm just starting it via the startup folder, could this be the problem?

    please help!

can u make a debug log when you're hibernating to see what's triggering the second hibernate?

    Hi Guino,
Here's a debug file. I have RR and SerialSwitch in my startup folder, I did a clean boot and let it stabilize, then I triggered CTS and it immediately hibernated. I let it sit for a minute and restarted it and it resumed OK, I let settle and triggered CTS again and nothing happened, so I minimized RR and maximized the serialswitch gui to look at the status of CTS, it was low, I triggered CTS again and saw the indicator on the gui go high and then it immediately hibernated again. I cycled the power again and it resumed and this time it hibernated right away without me triggering CTS!

I cycled the power again and it resumed to the RR menu (which was minimized before) with the serialswitch GUI on top of it showing CTS was still high despite there was no connection between pin 7 and 8. I waited a little and nothing happened so I closed Serialswitch and RR and came here to report. Also is the ExecTBL.ini.

Is my ExecTBL set up properly? I also have another file-

    (BLANK) ExecTBL.ini

    in my RR directory.

Thanks for your help. This crap is driving me CrAzY. This little computer I have is otherwise perfect but it's making me pay the price for simply not having a header for a normal ATX power switch.
