Thread: spider plugin, new labels/indicators/function/commands for silabs

i developed the dll using the old version of rr
the dll is compatible with new indicators of the last version of rr but i find too many crash closing or using last rr, using or not my dll and "my" usbradio.dll

the pack of silabs.dll, fomod.dll, usbradio.dll (my usbradio, not usbradio by guino or pete) works very well on old rr

if you don't register testsilabdll.dll (in old rr) the radio continues to operate, you can tune or use prev next function, but some rds info can be not displayed

this zip file is only an upgrade of my pack
you first must download the entire pack (download visual studio runtime if you have crash using usbradio.dll)
after you have install the kit you can upgrade using this last dll (usbradio.dll and fmod.dll must replaced, testsilabdll.dll must registered using regsvr32 command)

if you have do all this step you can't have problems,
if the dll continue to give problems you can give me a best describes respect the procedure you use to install it

I just updated to the latest rr.
I un-registered the testsilabdll.dll then registered the latest in the zip and replaced the othe file in the zip in rr folder.
No in the skin, the stero signal is always on and no rds. the radio does play ok.

ok i will install myself tonight see if i get the problems , foloowing spider instructions.

It may be just a case I need to clear my system out as its been moded so much but be good to know if it is my system etc.

ok you not on your own here , dived out of work early to try this lol....
installed old version (my installer) , replaced with new files ,

and the result is , nothing, not a single thing is working , i have a total dead screen.
sdksilabs.exe is running, but nothing in the skin

this is under the new rr.exe update,and a clean installed system, so i pursume it has somthing to do with that.

the big 1 is not alone i have the same problems, and i do not tend to roll back to the old rr, due to this is the direction rr is taking ,

oh and to be sure ,

i re-installed the old dll and yes some indicators don't work but the skin is alive , it dose work to a degree.
and this is under the new rr.exe as well,

i found all bugs

it's strange radio works with any preset but rr seems not start the radio
i will fix as soon as possible
i try to do this in next days

huhahhaha i find the very stupid solution....
open rrconfig
go to the radio menu
select "silabs"
....
and the radio will works fine
