Been using a software based shutdown controller for a laptop

Would a RR plugin based on Festy's laptop battery monitor plugin be a viable option to basically:

Power Disconnected Signal
>Run a list of programs in an ini file
>Hibernate Machine

On Resume/Startup
>Run a list of programs from an ini file

Not sure if a plugin can do this without any hiccups

What do you guys think?
