With the Winamp JTF plugin installed everything locked up. I removed Winamp JTF and now I'm not having lockups and your plugin correctly finds the files I'm searching for, but I can't select or play any of the files. I'm using your plugin with DFX 4.0; perhaps there's some sort of conflict there.
What version of Winamp are you using?

The WA JTF plugin should be installed already if you're using v5.13.

I've attached the JTF plugin that used to develop this plugin w/ v2.95 & v5.13

EDIT: It would seem that the WA JTF version included as part of the v5.13 install is different than the one I've included in the first post, which is what I used to develop this plugin. This could explain why my carPC and laptop didn't respond to the plugin when I tried to test it on those machines.

Im a little lost here. I have it isntalled correctly.. and i run "RRJTFE" and i get a screen that says "Playlist" and "No Matches Found". If i search for a term it brings up the osk then just returns to the same page with the same result. Maybe a step by step guide would help.

    EDIT:

Nevermind i forgot i was testing winamp 5.541. 5.13 works. But the Queue and Playlists dont toggle.

Can you guys post what version of the Winamp JTF plugin you are using?

Go to Preferences > Plug-ins > General Purpose

Please bear with me. This is my first real plugin and I'm on a learning curve.

When you say "Queue and Playlist," are you talking about the window or Play/Enqueue buttons not working?

I haven't enabled the Queue List and Management features yet as it's really buggy.

i just mean the buttons for "Queue" and "Playlist" do nothing. I can search the existing playlist and the search results appear.. then i click play (havent tried enqueue) and it plays, but in order to perform another search i must hit clear first.

sorry for sounding dumb but does this search thru your current playlist only ?

and allows you to "play now" a selected song or group of songs before resuming your current playlist ? or does it just enqueue a song into the current pl ?

is this not like what "searchlist" does ?

Yeah, the "Queue" and "Playlist" buttons are disabled at the moment as I'm still trying to work out the bugs on some of that window's commands.

i.e. "Remove File" & "Clear List"

I initially tried to make the plugin update the playlist as search keys are entered like the Winamp JTF plugin, but it was just so process intensive updating the CL that I just opted to use the OSK for searching and filtering.

This plugin searches thru the current playlist only.

It can only "play now" one song at a time. That's what the enqueue option is for.

The "ENQUEUE" option just sets the order in which songs in the current playlist are played regardless of their order in the playlist. Think of it as a playlist within a playlist.

Definitely not like the "SEARCHLIST" function as I understand it.

Updated first post and the plugin.

Just replace the old .dll and .exe w/ the those in the first post.

This update enables all the plugin's features, which include toggling to your queued tracks window and all those associated functions.

My first real contribution to the users of RR. That was fun.
