what exactly does the autoit bit handle.. the sendkey? If you ever wanted to converted to an all vb plugin I'd work with you on it. Works fine as is, but just sayin.

Mostly just the sendkey, label, and indicator handling.

Working on porting it over to all VB6. It's slow, but i'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

VB is all new to me. Plus I need something to keep my mind busy.

If I have any questions, at least I know who I can turn to for help.

    Thanks!

    Hey Sal!
Thank you for keeping what I had once started alive.
If you need any help, I'm here for you. As far as I can remember, I've posted the source code to all my work. Here it is. (Taken from this post)
I'm going to try this out as soon as my CarPC is out for service. To be frank, I'm annoyed at the bugs in the original v0.99 myself.

    HEY!

I DL'ed a copy of your source code and it was *ahem* a little over my head.

So, I started it from the ground up and using the functionality your complied .exe as a guide.

I've started to port this over to VB6, but got sidetracked working on my skin.

I'm just glad I got it working.

    i have a question now...

your plugin displays the playlist from RR, but does it manipulate it in anyway? I'm wondering if from a skinners perspective i can just display the playlist in one list with (S) and the queue list in another (CL) instead of having to toggle between them.

Both the playlist and queue list in the RRJTFE skin are both CL's populated with the contents taken directly from the Winamp JTF window, not RR's playlist window.

Also, it was the only way I can append the list to add "[#]" to the JTF playlist to identify which songs were queue'd.

Let me see if I can whip something up to take the trackinfo from RR's playlist and add it to the queue list that will enable you to do what you are describing above...

Sorry I've been away a few days, Sal.

I've downloaded and installed all the new files. I'm still playing with it, but so far it seems to be working pretty well. A couple of things:

    1. The songs in the results list do not change colors (highlight) when I click on them or scroll through them. Maybe that's skin related.

    2. Is there a way to clear the queue?

    3. It would be nice if the number of songs in the playlist, the number of songs in the search results and the number of songs in the queue were displayed.

This plug has lots of potential. Thanks for your efforts.

This looks like a pretty sweet plugin for searching through your playlist. Seeing as how I have over 22,000 songs this is really useful. However, I noticed when it pulls all of the items into the playlist it puts the songs in alphabetical order by artist. Can you sort this to be in alphabetical order by album title? And thanks for all the hard work....

    That is skin related.

On the Queue List screen, there is a button that clears your queue.

I'll add that to my list of things to do.

The items displayed in the plugin are pulled directly from Winamp. As a work around, you can configure how the items are displayed. I'm not to familiar with pulling ID3 tag data, but I'll look into it as I'm porting this over to VB6.

I would say that it's highly unlikely to sort by anything but simple alphabetical order. That's because the original JTF plugin that was written for Winamp sorts its search list in that order.
You can, however, type up the album's name on the OSK and it will only show you songs from that album.
