RRJTFE: Jump To File Extension Plugin (beta)

This plugin is inspired by DJik's awesome, but no longer supported, JTFE plugin for realtime playlist searching and queueing. It is completely recoded from the ground up since I couldn't get through his source code.

Included Features:
- Fully skinnable using RR's current standards (Carwings sample skin included)
- Direct control of Winamp v5.13 Jump To File plugin, which includes:
- - Queueing tracks
- - Playlist searching
- - Jump To File
- - Queue List Management

Update: 11/07/2008
All the functions of the Winamp JTF plugin are now useable thru this extension plugin. You must use the JTF version (v0.97.7) attached on this post for all the functions to work correctly.

Those using v0.96fg and the latest version v0.99 will be very buggy when trying to use this plugins queueing functions.

INSTRUCTIONS
*********************************
1 - Unzip & copy RRJTFE folder to your Road Runner directory
i.e. > Road Runner\Plugins\RRJTFE

2 - Copy RRJTFE\skins\*.* files into your preferred skin folder

3 - Create a button w/ "RRJTFE" button code
i.e. > BXX,...,"RRJTFE",""

4 - Add the following line to PLUGINS.txt or MENU.skin
X,RRJTFE

5 - Add the following line to your ExecTBL.ini
"ONSONGSTART","rrjtfe_onsongstart",RRJTFE.skin

6 - Register RRJTFE.dll by double-clicking "Register.bat"

REQUIRED SKINS

RRJTFE.skin
OSK.skin

BUTTON COMMANDS
*********************************
"rrjtfe" - Loads RRJTFE.skin

"rrjtfe_playlist" - Shows playlist window
"rrjtfe_jumptofile" - Immediately plays selected track from playlist window
"rrjtfe_queuefile" - Adds selected track to queue in sequential order
"rrjtfe_search" - opens OSK.skin for search criteria
"rrjtfe_clbox" - Clears search results and reloads all playlist contents

"rrjtfe_queuelist" - Show queue list window
"rrjtfe_removequeuefile" - Removes selected track from the queue
"rrjtfe_mvqueueup" - Move selected track up one queue position
"rrjtfe_mvqueuedown" - Move selected track down one queue position
"rrjtfe_clqueue" - Clears queue contents

"rrjtfe_exit" - Exits RRJTFE and closes extension plugin .exe.

LABEL CODES
*********************************
"rrjtfe_ver" - Plugin version
"rrjtfe_listname" - Will display "Playlist" or "Queue List" depending on which window is being displayed
"rrjtfe_searchstr" - Current search string

INDICATOR CODES
*********************************
"rrjtfe" - Plugin indicator
"rrjtfe_plorql" - Indicator if a "Playlist" window or "Queue List" window is being displayed.

what exactly does this do? You enter a search query and the result is found and played without changing the playlist? If so thats excellent!

Make sure its plugin manager compatible

Yup. It works just like DJiK's old plugin except for the fact that it is skin based and not an embedded plugin.

You can query your current playlist for tracks during runtime w/o changing your current playlist.

The only difference is that this plugin will have toggle the queue list and playlist since RR can only handle one CL per screen.

that sounds great.. i was thinking about implementing something in my skin to handle that with flash.. sometimes i just wanna listen to one song in a playlist and not totally recreate a playlist when searching for one song.

Sal,

I'm not getting this to work properly. Should Winamp's jump to file plugin be installed also? Should it specifically not be installed?

With the Winamp JTF plugin installed everything locked up. I removed Winamp JTF and now I'm not having lockups and your plugin correctly finds the files I'm searching for, but I can't select or play any of the files. I'm using your plugin with DFX 4.0; perhaps there's some sort of conflict there.
