Your INI has over 37 thousand entries and it's working well ? If so, I'm surprised myself. :P

BUT, is it possible to add two futures in GPSExec plugin ?
    - add a label for distance (metres or miles) between gps position and a poi position .
    - add a slider who give work with the first add (like songpos) .
    Thank again and again .
I can probably set a variable with the distance to the poi, but I'm unsure how you'd want to set a slider from it.. I mean, a slider is only useful to show a current position between two defined points.. and in this application you have the location you're at, and the position defined in the INI, so we'd need a third position to be able display any kind of slider... unless you make a standard range say 1km is the max and then show the distance between you and the location based on that.

Thats exactly what i was thinking lol. I'll have to give it a test on my little valley pc this weekend. Kuo, did you use a script to import the data into the .ini? If so could you share?

Guino how exactly does the program work? Is there a range at which a POI is ignored? How close to you have to be to the position for the command to execute? The way i was thinking a slider could work would be based on range. Lets say closest coordinate within 1km is "primed", and the slider range is 1km to 0. This way we could make a car icon showing the car approaching the poi. If it doesnt work this way i may look into adding it.

    [EDIT]
nevermind on the questions i read the .ini . I've already got a working flash slider doing exactly what i want

In my "Coming Soon" ( LOL ) GPS events PI, I use a rough box range the only keeps the closest POI in the smaller lookup loop and every few minutes, it goes through the entire list adding/removing the POI from the look up loop based on if its in the range box, to keep it efficient.

yea thats kinda the idea i was referring to. I was just sitting here tryin to modify the source of GPSExec so that its an "official" plugin so it can output labels and its own slider. Hope i'm not doubling-up anyones work.

Surely that would be a ring not a box.

No, its litererly a "BOX" not circle range...

This is really feature, is something that was already done in my PI. This PI is probably just better suited for simpler tasks or someone that doesn't bells & whistles and Y re-invent the wheel?

    Thanks for your answer Guino,

Slider is for to have a visual warning each time a poi arrive .
Is too for the fun and so see mey be who you program that .
( I am not a programer and would like listen to how)

The only reasons why your loadimg would not work are:

1-30/40.gif have an invalid file format
2-30/40.gif are NOT inside the SKIN folder
3-RRRADAR.SKIN has another object filling that space between 100,100-200,200
