CoverMess 0720 - Bug fix update

OK, ran a test to see if my paths.txt worked, I've attached a video to demonstrate the test...I'm running with discardable , so cm restarts on each try...

First test, paths.txt exists, loads in about 1 second..

Second test, delete paths.txt, run CM, takes about 4 seconds to scan hd and creates new paths.txt as I point out..

Third test, run CM again, loads in about 1 sec, so it is reading from paths.txt..

This is what the first few lines of my txt file look like...

Note the zero on the top, does yours have this?

i think i can see whats happing running skin tool log attached you can see it setting the path and loading the paths.txt ,then the cl is cleared then it loads the just a folder.jpg,and saves that cl list giving mea single line paths.txt with just a folder.jpg

Try this one...I've doubled the timeout values..

sorry nope its still the same its that 2nd cladd on the start that looks like the problem is it the same cmd as refresh folders as that works ok

You have to use a config file and change the button positions in order to fix this problem. Same with losing the flip button on the covers.

I have one request for you Pete..
How about the ability to change the txt color on all the buttons. And also be able to make them totally opaque.
If I set the alpha to 100, they are still slieghtly transparent.

Sorry one last post... THIS IS AWSOME.. I love this version. I have been using the first version with my skin now ever since it came out and it has been great. But the additional features added in this one push it over the top... THANKS

its not my problem just trying to let pete know what pafftis meant , the screen size is perfect for me with the new button images.

if you can add text to each button Great, but i have a request if possiable,
instead each button holding the font type can it read a var from the skin.ini
and the size of text of each button, i know the color is a problem ,

button txt settings in the works(couple of days), as for the alpha, i think it ranges from -255 to 255, try that....

great news pete ,this is really starting to come really alive now , even thou this is my test machine , and my music folder is a little weak on amount of tracks , and not very well done , i even started to add some missing art to my music just to get the full effect,
