How do I use the OSK or NUMOSK from plugin?

i.e.
- Select a button w/ PI command
- Process some internal stuff
- Prompt OSK.skin or NUMOSK.skin for user entry
- Execute rest of commands based on user entry

I've tried RR.Execute("OSKTOVAR;temp"), but it doesn't pause the execution of the subsequent commands.

What I want is the PI to wait after the user is done entering in a value and hit "ENTER" on the OSK to process further commands.

Help?

use OSKTOCMD.. then set the command to process the rest of your function. Thats how i handle it.. probably a better way but it works lol

Ya know .. i think it would be a good idea to great a subforum within the plugins forum for plugin development questions. I have a feeling alot of us are doin the same things differently with plugins.

Ya, if I can remember right, the places that I've needed to do that was to catch/watch for the osk cmd, save the entire cmd for later use, then watch for the enter enter cmd and if seen check what the frm.tag is and see if its the osk.skin then continue processing from there. But what sonic has too will also work just as well...

same herei use the same dirty trick,LOL. i try to use frm.tag(returns the same as using SDK.GetiInfo("RRSCREEN") with no luck..

Yeah it would be nice. also to have 'Skins in development' and 'working skins' sub forums.
