A setting to what line your getting the vol level from....
I have changed these two settings:
DefaultVROnCmd=SETVOL;Master;0
DefaultVROffCmd=SETVOL;Master;
To
DefaultVROnCmd=SETVOL;Wave;0
DefaultVROffCmd=SETVOL;Wave;
Which work fine, except that when it set the wave back, it uses the master level.
So maybe a setting that defaults to the master if setting is not specified...ie 'VolumeLine=xxx' would be 'VolumeLine=wave' in my case.
The reason that I do this is b/c I'm using a more custom GPS Vol type setup that works the way I want. I control the vol externally, not thru RR.
Also... I'm surprised that no one else has noticed that if the user is using GPS vol... when you initialize the VC, it sets the master to 0% and then the gps vol resets back to what it should be given the users setting for that feature. This could be done two ways,
handled internally:
Get the 'speedatt' setting first, set it to false(off), to the vol change, then on vc done, set the vol back, set the 'speedatt' setting back to previous value.
via ini:
DefaultVROnCmd=Setvar;Svd_speedatt;$speedatt$||SET VAR;speedatt;false||SETVOL;Master;0
DefaultVROffCmd=SETVOL;Master;||Setvar;speedatt;$S vd_speedatt$
Although, depending on how your doing the off cmd using the settings, would possibly not work if you just append the previous master value to the end of the line, as that value now need to be inserted at the correct spot..
Thanks,
I now await for that beta...

Me too...Need a request...hopefully to make the next beta..
It was meant to be user configurable... I'll go back over that part again.
I've looked at the use of a way to do the attention prompt, and I haven't found a good way to do it yet.
What I really need is a SET ACTIVESOURCE = OFF/ON command in RR.
Sort of a VR switch, to allow voice input w/out sound output. And w/out changing anything else in RR.
Currently ACTIVESOURCE is a Label...
SETSOURCE is too limited in it's scope to be usefull for this.
Mute gets outa sync.
Play/ Pause, ect don't work on every source.
SETVOL has to take into account a lot of Vars, to work properly.
SETVOLUME again Restricted for Audio Lines...
Guino? Mitch?

OH ya, I'll try and get something stable out this weekend, after I wake up from the LTrip nap...
