It scanned all 6344 songs on my drive, and never jumped to the C:\ drive. For me the solution was to delete the whole install folder and reinstall, and it started working just fine.

I do not however have the ability to load an artist and then choose an album. I need to "Load AlbumTitle" from my memory.

BTW what are you guys using for microphones and momentary inputs to the PC. I know Jebus, you are using a serial type thing, but I dont have a serial connector. Suggestions.

using this as a microphone and it works perfectly. I use it with Mobilephone and this voice app and i've never had problems picking up what i'm saying

and as for my momentary input i'm using one of the buttons on my SpaceNavigator. It sits nicely right in my hand during my drive so its easy to just hit the button and talk.

LOL, I agree stubborness is good, means you know what you want. Thats why I am stubborn. I did not mean anything in a negative way.
I'm not really discouraged, just knew that I would be spending more time on this than I wanted to right now, if I released it in some form. Summertime, so many hobbies and so little time. It is truly BETA. I do want it to work for all. I'm not giving up. I welcome the input.

I use HomeSeer also, since 2001, and I believe they are doing the number conversion internally. When you speak the number 1 in an VR event in HS the VR Engine "hears" the word "won" or "one" not "1". They must be doing the logic match internally.

Sonic, you can minimize it and it will still work, It was meant to be minimized.

#1 Having only to click the "Hide" menu on the settings form to hide it, should be able to also do the same when using the close window button(top right)

Must be a limitation of the custom control I'm using. I will check it out.

Make the list of commands a single column instead of mashed together multi columns, most of the bigger commands do not fit in that small column area and run into the list item to the right.

Again that is the custom control. I will work on that.

I'd also like to know who else you had test this as you were in the process of creating it?

Ha! It worked for me, what it doesn't work for you guys!

Did you try and make one or did you search the web for examples and go from there.

The latter, after I tried to create my own. I even started down the DB path. Even tried with Sqlite3. I do think that all this belongs in a database.

Setting up a touchscreen button/label for this is shown in the first post, although with you changing the volume ini variable, it will not work as intended. Lowering the volume to 0 before speaking and resetting it to previous level after match.

Don't worry folks, I am going to dissapear for a bit, wrap my head around all this input, and come up with something to test. There is no question in my mind that a GREAT Car PC Frontend has to have voice input. I think it is a matter of driving safety.

Is H:\MP3\ a network drive? Or is it an extended partition...

It is a 4th physical drive on the computer. When I get it all working, it will be on drive E:\ in the car (An external USB hard drive with all the media on it.)

Although it is not an "Extension" plugin, it is still a plugin since it is meant to work with RR. So it deserves its own thread in the plugins section and deserves to be listed in any RR plugins list.
