is there going to be a version coming out that replaces the non-spoken characters? I wrote a script the other night to enumerate my mp3 folders and remove all non-spoken characters from the filenames. Didn't really think to wait to see if a new version was coming out

Something I noticed in the short time I used it though - On windows startup, I have RRVC in the startup folder. It seems that this causes RRVC to make the taskbar remain on top until you touch the RR skin someplace to bring it to the foreground. I haven't tried putting it in the run registry key yet. How is everyone else loading it? Via RR exectable?

I'll have to wait until I get a decent microphone and it has m4a support anyway.

Thank you for this. As JohnWPB mentioned, having something that works like Ford Sync is going to be a big plus for the RR community.

Glad to see you involved in another breakthrouhg technology! How do you do it? You are like involved in a dozen projects not including your home hobby which probably consumes 20% of your time. I get it though. Tis what keeps one leveled and entertained. Why not do what you love....

If I'm on main menu and my playlist is loaded, I say "play cowboy" theres no hyphens, numbers, ect. it will beep...hearing it correctly (I have voice app above riderunner to ve it hears it correctly temporarly) but just wont start the song! If it's in the Audio skin it does? I can command any song if it's in audio skin, Is this correct? is it possible to command any of the songs in a playlist from the menu screen? Does it have to be in audio skin to use song title commands? In Main Menu, I get all other commands working including "select next song" am I doing something wrong?

Vista Users are going without this round: theres simply no Sapi thats compatible as Vista uses 5.3 (speech recognition 8.0) I searched for days!
for users with XP.. make the app run in compatibility mode windows 2000 otherwise the music path error's upon "create" thats how I got it working.

IM LOOKING TO CONNECT A OUTSIDE BUTTON ON MY CENTER COUNSEL TO TRIGGER THE RRVOICE I SKINNED MY DFX AND NOT TOO SATISFIED WITH HAVING VOICE BUTTONS SCATTERED AROUND DIFFERENT SCREENS.. UNLESS I STICK IT ALONG THE BOTTOMBUTTON.TXT BUT THATS ALREADY DONE AND NOT LIKING THAT EITHER HAVING TO TOUCH THE SCREEN VS A PHYSICAL BUTTON IS EASIER WHILE DRIVIN YOU SIMPLY CAN FEEL IT...LOL, ANYHOW I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO CREATE THIS AND COMMUNICATE IT TO COMPUTER.. I DO HAVE A EXTRA PS2 USB TYPE JOYSTICK THAT I CAN CHOP UP..LOL, CAN YOU SHOOT ME IN RIGHT DIRECTION.. IM ASSUMING I NEED I/O PROCESSOR OR WHATEVER..IT WOULD NEED TO BE USB AS THIS IS LAPTOP.

Jebus, unfortunatly I don't have a serial port. I looked on your Aprils post back in 08' (serial switch 5).. nice but not a option. I need usb only.
