OT, That would mean doing more work than necessary for what he is asking. with that just attach his voice btn to one of the controlers buttons, close it up, then just plug in the usb conn.

So, cracking open an unknown usb game controller, looking for the right wires, attaching another button, with wires, notching it or drilling it to let wires out, with strain relief and routing wires, stashing usb game controller somewhere, is easier for a newbie than hooking up two wires and a button to a usb to serial converter and plugging it in?

Anybody tested Voice Control on Windows 7?

Windows 7 uses the same speech engine as Windows Vista sapi 5.3.10812, located at \Windows\System32\Speech\Common\sapi.dll

I'll try that sooner or later, after reading the instructions and then I'll get back to you all.

this will not work on windows 7 or Vista, I changed to XP due to Vista speech not compatible

yeah I had vista and triied very hard including changin the speech engine and hacking it no luck.. So i created 2 partitions and now the xp runs RR and voice.. Vista and win7 also have issues with the Overlay's that are used for Garmin and other things that Elcamino made. I got them working but then it would randomly hide behind sometimes...lol, Goodluck
