Thread: bluetooth phone

You need BlueSoleil in order for it to work with Ride Runner.
I have an HTC Hero and it works great.

Do i.configure it in the bluesoil program

I must be the worst at this, cant figure it out. Dl the trial version and still cant figure out what to change so it connects.

You can't use RR build in Phone Control as it is absolete. You need to pair your phone in bluesoleil once, then it connects every time. Download .net Bluetooth Phone Control from the released plug in section (.net Bluetooth Mobilephone Plugin), run the installer and select bluetooth phone, then you ready for use in RR.

I am running ur omega skin, after I install the plugin and go through the process. While in your skin and select phone it says trying to connect please wait

I got it to work, but my contacts dont show up. changed the menu.skin txt file to read "load;mobilephone.skin;" copied all the files from carwings into the omega folder and it connects to phone. How do I get my contacts to show up when calling and is there a way to link the phone book?

The OLD Omega skin used FreePhone, which is no longer supported.
I am working on my new ONS skin, ONS=Only Nessesary Stuff.
It uses the new Plugin and works like a charm, thanks to Lambosprit.

You can't link to your phones phone book but you can put contacts into a text file called mobilephone_PC.txt. This allows you to call contacts fromm RR but only from this file.

If an incomming number exists in you PhotoPath (see ini file) then that photo can be displayed in a skin using a special indicator. for example I01,340,66,120,150,"FILE;$mobilephone_photopath$"
