I've been playing around with this plugin for the past week with limited success. I have a BT GPS and so, the BT to the phone is having great difficulty with attaching to my phone. It seems like I get one or the other but really not both. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue ? I've BlueSoleil 8.0.395.0
Also, regarding the transfer of contacts, while my phone has over 300 possibly, I got ONE contact appearing when I pressed the Phone button and THREE when pressing the Sim Card button. I got NONE with the Book button. However, from within BS, I can see the whole lot when clicking on View Contacts
As soon as I have some time, I will update my code for BS 10 and the new functions. Just need time. Busy with work projects and trying to find a house.
New little version v1.0.3
-Simplify the settings screen
-Added a new command that give a list of all services accepted by your phone "mobilephone_settings_updateserviceslist" (see the settings screen)
-now the plugin don't use the 32feet.NET dll for create the devices list and it's replaced by a full Bluesoleil code (great thanks to ClockWorK and it's Driveline code that help me)
-add volume commands for micro "mobilephone_microvolume;X" and for speaker "mobilephone_speakervolume;X" for X = 0 to 15 .
-add a redial command "mobilephone_redial"
With this new installer, i have added an old Hyperterminal program that help me with the AT command:
About the SMS event, if the phone isn't ready , the event don't run !
For now, i don't understand why the plugin don't send the good command AT, but with hyperterminal:
-see the com port than BT give to your phone.
-run hyperterminal, choose the good port and use baud rate 9600 by example .
-type AT and return .
-if you see AT and OK, the ech is ON but if you see only OK, type ATE1 and return
-for set to ON the SMS check, type AT+CNMI=1,1,0,0,0 and return , and you are ready .
-quit hyperterminal !
Run RR and when you phone is connected send you a SMS, you will see the sms indicator blink.
This is just for test. Hope a better and comfortable method !
I am trying to use hyperterminial but I need some help again :(
In Windows device manager there is 2 ports used, COM 3 & 4 for Bluetooth Serial Ports.
If I open hyperterminal and create a new connection with COM 3 and change baud rate 9600
If I type AT and hit return nothing happens. I also tried COM 4.
On the bottom of hyperterminal it says connected and is counting how long I was connected for but the window with the blinking cursor nothing shows up when I type or after I hit return.
What am I doing wrong?
In your task bar, click right on Bluesoleil and open it .
Click right on your phone and if you see a com port on the Serial service, this is this com port to use with the hyperterminal !
You haven't a com port defoned , connect just one time the phone with the serial port and you will obtain the com port !
Unconnect your phone and retry hyperterminal with the good com port !!!
New version v1.0.4
