Click right on your phone and if you see a com port on the Serial service, this is this com port to use with the hyperterminal !
You haven't a com port defoned , connect just one time the phone with the serial port and you will obtain the com port !
Unconnect your phone and retry hyperterminal with the good com port !!!
The "Echo typed characters locally" now lets me see what is on the screen but still no reply after I type AT

If I right click on my phone in bluesoleil I don't see anything about Serial service I did a short video of what I see.

When you click right on the yellow circle, into the servives tab ,if you can , delete these two com port into the properties .
Now , click right on your phone and use the search command !
After that , use the option connect the 'connect to serial com port' , and use the command 'unconnect to the serial com port'.
After that, you will see one com port in line 'connect to com port'.
This is that com port you must to use !

I don't see the dongle properties but the device (phone) properties !
Click on your phone , search the services , connect your phone with the serial service, unconnect the serial service and see what is the com port attributed .

Thanks for your help. I did another video of 2 different ways I tried to search the services on my 2 different phones. One was with the 2 comports enables and then disabled as there is no way to delete them and to connect to any comport service that I can see.

It would appear that the best version to go with is the latest 10.0.453. Many v10 users might only have 10.0.417 but according to the Release Notes, there appear to have been significant updates to 417
