Cruizer, that is indeed I think the absolute dream.
Whodwho, it works great for me. That bug is gone. Now it only listens when I press the F10 key. No more false commands! Great, great work!
Why isn't this thread a sticky yet?
Now that's what I'm looking for, I think that is very doable (by auto script generation I think is the only option). After a solid release I will look into that.Originally Posted by Cruizer
FYI, after I hear back from a couple hotkey testers I will release a updated version. I have kept the updates to a minimum so I don't have to keep bugging Gobby to update the links.

This seems *PIMP* I just read this post and after reading this I think Im gonna scrap the crappy voice programs that I have now and take to this. Oh and as for the dictation the microsoft ASPI seems the work almost everywhere you can input a text field. If its activated say in notepad shouldnt it automaticly kick in and start parsing voice to text just like in word? Im probably forgetting something important here but Im gonna give it a try tonight and see what happens.
parts and hardware install... 100%
progress install... 0%
I keep changing little stuff and then all of a sudden I change skins and then frontends then GPS...
what next?!
Sorry, I went to do an oil change after I got off work tonight... and the threads on my drain plug are breaking off. I don't have a garage (I have a condo) so my car is stranded at my parents house. First thing tomorrow I'm running to the stealer to pick up a new one. (knowing them I'm guessing a minimum of $5 for this stupid screw)
I'll test this tomorrow... sorry.

I was thinking to aid in the recognition. How possible would it be so that each screen in road runner has its own command xml. That way the software would have a smaller script to search through and also would be less prone to errors or miss recognition. For example on the main menu the computer would only expect to hear audio mode, navigation mode, mixer, video mode and quit. But in the audio screen the software would expect to hear play, pause, next, previous, stop, list and so on. (obviously this would depend on the skin)
This would increase the integration into road runner and should decrease the amount of processing power required (which isn't so much of an issue).
If you like I could try and have a look at writing a script for the folder and file structure, however this is your baby whodwho and if you would like to do it all yourself I fully understand.
Keep up the good work.
The app I originally wrote worked similar to this, it would load a different command set by file. I mainly did this so you wouldn't have to say a rule name then a command. This set would stay active until you said a different app then it would switch out the command file and set focus on that app or until you said finished and would go back to the main set. I am still learning the proper ways and all the ways to use the grammar files. I have been thinking how this could be done, one way would be to go off which screen has focus and have it activate a rule with a command set setup for it. I don't know that it has that much effect on resources other than the memory to load the file. I choose to use the compiled grammar files for one that you can't save a misconfigured file and a complied file should be more efficient.Originally Posted by Cruizer
Is the script you mention about the playlist mentioned in your earlier post?
No, this is our project as a community and this is just something I would like to contribute...however this is your baby whodwho and if you would like to do it all yourself I fully understand.

good idea cruzier. I love this RR mod. the only thing i dont like is the fact that I have to say Iguidance before every command "IGuidance, Zoom in" "Iguidance zoom out", Did the hotkey feature get released yet? If not, you mind sending it to me WhoDwho? Wouldnt mind giving it a crack. ( can you tell I use this for Iguidance mostly, lol)
I think in all that babbling and getting caught up in the emotion of open projects aboveOriginally Posted by Rosebud6
the main thing I forgot to say is this is not only possible but I had taken it out for the integrated version, and that I can easily put it back in.
