Even if its not an accident, there are way to many options and frankly, although he gets the job done, Microsoft mike speaks on the slow side and it would seriously probably take a full half day for him to say the commands, I think it would be much faster and easier to see them visually. A command list that you print out would be a good idea to keep in the car somewhere. Plus, by the time the computer reads through half the commands, you'll have forgotten the first few.

Enforcer, I think we should go ahead and add that command anyway.

I was in a parking lot yesterday and some bonehead backs right out of a space in front of me, I had to slam on my brakes, so of course I yelled "**** You" and my computer yelled "Oscar"!. Thanks for the help computer....

If it were menu based, you wouldn't need a long list.
    eg
    You: "Help"
PC: "Audio, GPS, Video, Radio" etc
    You: "Audio"
PC "Say Play, Pause, Next Track, Previous Track, Playlist" etc
I've tried that system and it works.
It would be even easier with a Hotkey. Just press it to interrupt.

Anyone else have this problem, I just installed the new version. WHen I load RR it loads fine and say's ready. Then, the first time I say "computer" the program doesn't respond for about 2 minutes. Then, after that, it works fine..

I think I''l just make a generic skin with all the commands listed in large fonts and create a voice command to that skin.

I'm starting a little experiment. The biggest problem I have is that the mic hears the audio playing and goes a little haywire. So, I'm taking my logic mic and soldering a tiny momentary contact button in. SO, now the mic will only be listening while I'm holding the button in. We'll see how it goes.

Ok, whodwho... ignore my posts from above about the iBus causing funky issues.... I'm a moron and it was all my fault.

Well, my car went into the body shop this weekend to have the hood repainted (TONS of little rock chips) so I finally got it back yesterday. I looked at my iBus config file and I guess I just totally forgot to change the iBus config file. I was sending the mic command, and not the F10 key.

Problem is, I don't know how to do a sendkey with the RR-iBus program I'm using. Anyone else using this on a BMW with iBus like I am?

    Whowho,

The lastest version on your webspace in the link you sent me (dll from the 20th, exe from the 21st) works flawlessly with the new 2/19 version of rr

Voice Command always looks for a keyword, and it unpauses the music like it should.

Not to mention it works with the new gestures code in RR, so now I have so many input options its hard to choose

    Keep up the great work.

It looks like you created a sub directory, you would want to run these from your existing Road Runner directory.

Thank you for the feedback, I will wait for a couple others and then post an updated one in the first post.

Did you try the show commands yet? "system show commands"
