whodwho thanks for the files. I will try it out to see what happen.
I think you can post the file as beta RR. This is the same way Skippy did. But be prepare to give guino the change you make so that he can add to the final release cuz some folks only install RR release by guino.

its working alright
but i think u need to mute the mic each time the pc talks..
cus it keeps hearing itself and running around in circles answering itself

I will play with the idea of cutting the mic off on speak, I don't know how responsive it would be but worth a look.

Any other additions before I submit it to make it available for download?

Love the setup haven't played with it much since I just saw it about an hour ago but it seems very nice.
What about having the voice system read a file to me as I drive to work. I have a rss news aggregator setup to print out a single copy of 25 or so news stories and sports scores and highlights every morning since I never have time to watch the news. Could I set this up to take that file either txt pdf or whatever and read it to me when I call out "what's the news" or something similar? I don't have radio in the car anymore so this would be a great addition to me. I just don't know how hard it would be to implement. I am guessing it would have to be intgrated with the text to speech engine so it might be a big pain in the *** but I don't know.
Thanks alot and congrats on the great program
After we can get this accepted and get solid working command set we can expand it. I think this is very doable, I would like to also add dictation as well. I will be adding this to the stand alone one either way.Originally Posted by DoubleC
It may take awhile to get intune with the voice to fully understand it as it is not 100% technology yet. There are some really nice voices available that may help. AT&T and NeoSpeech make some very realistic sounding ones.
Thanks for the interest,
