ok, i've installed sapi 5.1, selecting Micosoft English Recognizer 5.1 in the speech settings. Run rr, but still it doesn't says anything. everything is silent. What am i missing? thanks!
what i did before, putting the folder Voice Control 05-02 into rr folder, then copy the UseVoiceControl=true to RR(configurations setting). is that correct?
copy all the files from the .zip into the Roadrunner directory.
add 'usevoicecontrol=true' into rr.ini (check the 'add this to rr' file thatll tell you exactly what to add in).
Make sure to "Regsvr32 voicecontroll.dll" from the command prompt. you must be in the RR directory.
Setup a microphone/SAPI. Make sure to test sapi by itself in Controlpanel/Speech. Once you know that works, startup RR and it should bring up another window for the voice control stuff. Where you say
Make sure to "Regsvr32 voicecontroll.dll" from the command prompt. you must be in the RR directory.
Did all of that except the one above. Hows do i do this? Mic is working. Now i noticed that the window for the voice control is not there when i run rr. Thanks for the help and patience.
Go to a command prompt (press {Windows Key + R}, then type 'CMD', then press enter)
get into the same directory as roadrunner (type cd\program files\roadrunner\ )
type: regsvr32 voicecontrol.dll
restart your pc.reload RR. thats all i can think of for now.
finally got everything working. got the latest rr, and everything's working great. thanks to all. cheers!
hello
why in the stopReco rule i don't have take an ansered?? they work but they don't tell ansered to me? do you now why?
Is there any tip's or trick's that anyone knows....to get it to recognize your voice commands better???
I've spent a good hour training my profile..(in control panel-speech-train profile), but it hasn't done any good, tried three different mics (one of them is fairly good quality too), and fiddled with mic gain and volume.. all I can get it to recognize is "computer" and sometimes "time" and "date".....I don't think I mumble that badright now I just want it to recognize the "you are a dumb****" command
...
It's totally irrelevant.. but after i installed at&t crystal voice, it started listening better... Don't ask me why as i don't know....
