OH, well I just commented it out. However, I will definitley DL a newer update. This is working great.

When I was talking before about searching for whole words like "Janet" etc. I was thinking that perhaps the speech recognition could recognize spoken words that were not defined in the commands. I thought it was maybe only when spoken word matched one that was defined in the commands it would execute. Under that assumption, I was thinking that the engine could understand almost anying said and that could be sent in certain circumstances as text even if it was not recognized in commands, and if it were not exactly what you said, you could simply "try again". But I didn't realize the recognition was limited to strictly what was previously defined in commands.

ah, actually I am in the middle of getting this to work, I have it so you say "System toggle Dictation" it will toggle into dictation mode so it will output recognized words/phrases as sendkeys so you can fill text boxes or do a quick-note in notepad, etc. It is working but I think will take getting your mic well trained and possibly be headset only as it will all the more susceptible to false-recognitions.

Excellent. For those who do not have headset or who have a high propesnity for inaccuracy, what about a quick way of not accepting mistaking dictation. FOr instance I say "soundtrack", the computer hears and produces the text "on track". I say "wrong" and text is deleted and the computer goes back to listening for a correction....

Yes, I tried it and I'm see that was well. However, I noticed that if you say "Computer" once, it will not require you to say it again even if you shut the mic off and turn it back on.

Not sure why this is..... I was planning on hiding a mic in the location where the factory cell phone kit would have the mic, but I didn't have time this weekend like I thought I would. As soon as I get that done, I'll be able to play with this more.

This rocks -- it works far better than BrunoSR or NaviVoice, the RR integration is awesome. The best thing is it is *not* very processor intensive (BrunoSR and NaviVoice will bog down my CPU, making WMA playback skip constantly).
    Two questions/observations:
On resume, my mic volume is reduced (or perhaps muted?). This could be a SAPI/speech problem, but is there any way it's caused by your software? The result is that each time I resume (from standby) the computer does not respond until I readjust the mic volume.
I like that it pauses music playback when it hears the keyword, and it's great that it resumes it. But if the music is paused (intentionally) before I speak the keyword, after it carries out my command it will automatically resume playback. Sometimes I want it to stay paused because I want to pause my music for extended periods of time.
    Thanks!!

I am still working with the dictation part, I have edit commands so a " edit undo" after a false recognize should remove it, a command "wrong" could easily be added as it is just a sendkey with a ^Z. Should work, yes?

Guess I should update the thread, I have worked with a few individual and added or fixed a few things:

    * commented out the "bless you" and "excuse you"
    * added a hotkey to use as the keyword - currently is F10 but will try to get that in the ini
    * added to the suspend and resume functions so it will be active on reboots
    * fixed it where on starup you had it set for continuous and would still wait for first keyword to switch
    * added MapPoint commands

ah, I need to add the fix for this one - when you pause by skin button it will unpause after next voice command
and I am looking into adding IGuidance

    Definitely. Very nice.

    Iguidance support will be incredible!

For iguidance, could you make it so that when I say

"Alright! I'll turn around when I get a chance, *****!"

    Microsoft Mike says

"Seriously, get off his back. He heard you the first 5 times!!"

Just kidding! - Iguidance users should relate to this!
