WooHoo! I do not know what the problem was with my computer, but I did a new install (for other reasons) and the Radio Shark plugin is working FLAWLESSLY!
Thanks to Evolution for a fantastic plugin! I find that the radio scans as fast as my head unit in the car when holding down the tuning buttons on the skin.
I LOVE the new dirrect tuning feature! For those that have not downloaded the latest version of the plugin, you can now have a button when pressed, that pops up the numeric keypad skin on the screen, and you can type in a frequency to jump to.

1. Launch patched radioSHARK.exe directly
2. Right-click anywhere on the radioSHARK window > choose Preferences
In the RadioSHARK Preferences window. In Instant record frame:
1. Select “MyMusic Dir” as location.
2. Set the path for the “My Music Directory”
Please leave your vote on the top: Should the radioSHARK support be native in RR?
Looks like only 6 people using this plugin. I guess there is no point to make it native in RR
or thats only the amount who are checking back in on this thread...

I'll start using the plugin once I get unlazy enuf to set it up... lol... one of these days...
Hehehehe You must be feelin' REALY lazyIf you ahve a Radio Shark already, all it takes is patching the RS.exe, and putting the files in the RR directory. Takes about 2 minutes to have it up and working, and it works really well!
As for 10 people using this plugin, you need to get Guino to add "Radio Shark" as supported hardware in the FAQ Radio section. I actually purchased my Radio Shark after stumbling across this thread by accident. Actually, I had no idea what a Radio Shark was at the time. Funny enough, the people at Best Buy didn't either! Took 3 employees about 15 minutes to help me find it, the computer showed 4 in stock, but no one knew where!! Turns out it is with the Ipod accesories, and NOT in the computer section... go figgure.
A Radio Shark seemed like the best USB option to go with, as my CarPC has no PCI slots so an internal card was not an option. (I just purchased a 2nd one for my desktop PC and use the plugin in "stand alone" mode)
Many people look at the FAQ to determine what to purchase, and may miss this thread completely.
Now, I have one suggestion/request for the plugin, that should not be hard to implement.
How hard would it be to implement code to save a preset by pressing and holding one of the preset buttons? (Like a normal head unit does). As RR already has code for tapping a button, and can issue another command if the button is held, that part is covered. Saving the station to the ini file is a feature you recently added to the plugin so that part is pretty much covered. It would be a matter of simply passing the preset button number pressed, and adding/updating that specific line in the ini.
