I'm not familiar with the business CD setup, but on my nav equipped car, I'm able to change modes between am/fm, tape, and cd by emulating the "mode" button presses so I don't see why not. Just capture the appropriate ibus string and give it a shot.

You can't simulate buttons if they are not currently attached.

I do not know how to do it. I started IBus Analyzer and captured the mode button keystroke but I could not see anything. Do anyone know if is it possible with the Business CD radio to do it?
    Thanks

PD. I will post Ibus Analyzer file

I am just waiting for the next edition of ibuscomm.
Even if disattach the HU as i am playing around with ibusanalyzer, ibus detects that and disables the buttons. So ibus provides a realtime error and device check. That's all i know.

If it's detecting that the head unit is missing after you've removed it, then it's because it's no longer responding to a bus ping. So what you need to discover is the appropriate reply message to make the bus master think the device is still attached and operating, then you will be able to send a mode button press string to change sources.
