I haven't had a chance to test this app yet.. but it sounds like what I've been dreaming of.

One request though, would it be possible to have the option with the above to lower the line in volume, then restore it to what it was? I use an external XM app that doesn't use the winamp line in plugin, so this wont work for it. Just an idea, if not, no big deal. Once my XM app plugin for RR is done, it should be able to handle this..

    Thanks,
    Chris

I'll be going to Logan in Boston on Sunday morning, so I can record that track. How much of it do you need? Just enough that I'm recording before I get into the airport area shown on the map?

Also, do you need iGMon running during the track? Or is plain-old iG good enough?

And finally, can someone email a copy of the beta 1.1 install to cmagnell at gmail dot com? My work firewall blocks the download. Thanks!

CarPC v2.5 up and running - all hardware installed, skin configured, and iG tweaked like crazy. Now for OBD-II, and voice control, and camera plugin, and... :nutz: - it never ends!

Also I've set mine up to lower the winamp volume and restore it after giving directions. So much better, in my opinion, than pausing and resume. It seemed a little too harsh to cutoff the music like that. So instead of PAUSE and RESUME in the ini file, I used "exec SETVOL;winamp;30 and SETVOL;winamp;100 respectively.

which line does xm use? just substitute winamp with whatever line it is.

When you go into an airport area, the background becomes gray. I just need the gray background to go over the top left corner where the Next Turn box appears. And no, you don't need iGMon running. I only need the .gps log file so I can play it back and grab the color.

When I get this version stabilized and when I find the time and motivation, these features will probably be added (in the order of most likely to least).
    - Disabling pausing for "ding" sound
    - More skinning commands
    - Better error handling in IGmon (so it crashes less often)
    - Fixing the font issue in the OSK input box (this is for skinners)
    - Skinnable popup with skinnable Next Turn Arrow (ie. provide your own images)
    - Displaying the Next Turn Arrow as an image on any RR screen
    - Numerical OSK for entering house number (overkill?)
    - Brand-new skinnable iGMon Menu system. Don't you hate it when you go to iGuidance Menu, the map stops moving? The new iGmon menu system will support transparency so you can still see the map moving underneath.
    - More consistent Auto Zoom
    - Skinning and magnifying the rest of iGuidance windows such as Favorites, Recent, etc.
    - Built-in embedding and removing borders from iGuidance so you won't have to use iGLaunch or SkinBedder, etc.
    - Optional anti-aliasing for fast PCs
These ALL sound GREAT, please post a donation link hopefully that will give u some motivation

Also any chance of you releasing the PSDs for iGmon's default skin so we can start making our own skins for this great app

and someone get this guy his own subforum [zip-lock you there????]

Yea... Please continue development. Seriosly man this is a heaven send. Your first two betas blow every other release of similar apps out of the water. You definitly got skills. I would love to see all of those other options especially the ding removal, Working Autozoom, Skinnable popup box, and Turn signal for inside RR skins

Amen on the donation link. Lets get some motivation for you
