I like this thing so much that I am adding 4 alarms, TV, hourly chime, hour meter and a count down timer.

Guys -

Not sure this plugin will work, or if some other may require too much CPU cycles but - here is what I hoping for.

I enter into a skin page - timer runs on that skin page - at end of that timer it executes a valid RR command sequence.

The most simplified way to understand this is with a VideoPlayer skin I am creating. When I get to the video player screen (using an External Player which Guino will be posting details on soon - ZoomPlayer) it will have all transit controls. Then after 60 seconds it will ultimately switch to it's flavor of fullscreen skin.

So this would need to run upon entry to the VideoControls page - then countdown - then switch to VideoFull skin after seconds=x.

Advice guys?

There are two commands, IDLE and TIMER, just place either IDL,60 or TMR,60 on the .skin files, and it will execute those commands which you can define in ExecTBL:

"IDLE","COMMAND",video_player.skin
"TIMER","COMMAND,video_player.skin

Let me know if it doesn't work.

Guino - and once again I thank you sir.... You will see in the example I sent you how that would handle the "auto" transition from PlayerScreen to the FullScreen (or almost full) --- thanks so much sir...!!!

not sure why this isnt working for me

nettester and donothing are defined correctly in the skin exectbl.ini. i used setvar;timeblock;0 in the STARTCOMMAND of rr.ini

Yea Sonic, just some FYI, if you need to set any var's at the start of rr the more natural way "I think" is just add the var right to the rr.ini file.. and it will just automaticlly create and set the var.
