How do I 'compile the scripts' when the 'compile the scripts' box is all greyed out?

The instructions are great for someone who has reshacked before but they just confused an old newbie like me. It's like being talked down by air traffic control from 15,000 feet when the pilot collapsed and the closest you ever got to flying was watching a re-run of Airplane.

I know i am going get hanged for this ... Is there going to be a standalone version of this made..... RR has all the cool plugins.....wahhhhhh

OK, you are going to think me real stupid but I need my hand holding with the install.

I have GPSGas installed and working. I added the command to exectbl.ini and I added the addtoskin.txt (do we have to change all those zeroes in the x,y coords?) to GPSGAS.skin

I see the gas prices for my zip in the GAS screen and if I click on any of them it opens gpsgas_detail.skin and I see the NAV button. But how do I add the appropriate Button commands to this skin - your readme says to add a # for whichever station I want but where do I get that from - it opens the same skin for each of the stations.

As you can see, I'm horribly confused

i couldtn really answer that for you without knowing which skin you are using.

first are you using my latest version and getting the coordinates instructions fromt he link in the readme? the only reason compile script would be greyed is if you havent made any changes since the last time it was compiled.

Yes, just downloaded a fresh copy and opened the .exe in reshacker - then went to 'Add a new resource' imported the 1092.res file. Then tree expanded the 1092 and saw the 1033 which I clicked on - the dialog opened and I could open and close but the compile script was greyed out.

I am use Blue Devil skin by the way (cos it's awesome!)

Yes it does - ok that's good then.

Now to part 2 - how a dummy installs it

I edited the Blue Devil skin so it ran your button code instead of the gps_detail stuff and if I click on a station it pauses for a bit and then opens the Menu in IG3 - but that dialog appears to be over the top of the gpsgas window rather than reverting to the IG screen.
