Furthermore there are traffic and news announcements which causes headunits to switch to radio when your listening to a CD. The same functionality is in the plugin. It will temp. switch to the news transmission or when traffic announcements are transmitted.
really what i want is to have traffic information overlayed on my maps in whatever gps program i have. Newer gps units are starting to do this.

Have anyone tried it? Does the plugin work better than native HQCT support in RR?

Havn't got it to work. Anyone that managed to get it to start?
Dont get any text from the radiomodul (even after downloading the "LCD Display Grid" font that the skin is using) or any of the indicators.

Nothing showing up in the skins usually indicate a dll register problem. Could you move the rrhqctp.dll, mcHID.dll and the rrhqctp.ini to your road runner directory and register the dll using regsvr32 rrhqctp.dll.

I'm updating the plugin soon as I have implemented all the audio functionality of the HQCT. People will need this when the HQCTe is starting to ship and people use the build-in amplifier. Volume, Bass, Treble and Fader control and CD(probably the lineout of the CARPC), Tape and Phone controls are in the HQCT and can then be controlled from Road Runner.

Have tried both in the RoadRunner and HQCT-directory. No luck with either of them. If I check the registry, I can see that the dll-file is registered with the right filepath.

Do you have the following line in your menu.skin?

    X,RRHQCTp

This will load the DLL and will make all the labels and buttons for the RRHQCTP plugin available in all screens.

The extention plugin is a .dll file that RR needs to know about. So the line X,RRHQCTp in your menu.skin will load the dll and with that the labels, commands and indicators I have been programming in the dll are available for you to use on all of your screens. In the Netherlands for example the location of the mobile traffic camera's are transmitted on some of the stations. So while playing MP3 it's still good to have the RDSTEXT in your screen to check for updates.

Check my radio skin to see what objects are available to use.

Last week I have build my carpc back into my car and I'm currently testing the plugin. Expect an update soon....
