I tried mini lyrics in the past, and not looking to go that route. Was just looking for a simple way to display the lyrics tag in RR itself. RR seems to be able to read everything but. Even if a dll or ocx was required, would be nice. I currently have around 30,000 songs, and 80% of em have lyrics embedded.

Finally got a chance to try this out last night. Works ok and how I expect.
One thing i did run into though. When i tested it, i just used whatever items were in my playlist and not thinking to check if they were .mp3 files or not (wma) and it seems to only work with .mp3 files as when i tried to edit the tag the file was damaged ( i have backups).

So maybe u can put some kind of error checking in to make sure it only will try to write tags for supported file types? Something like if the file is not a supprted type it will just call up another screen saying file type not supported or something along those lines.

    Otherwise seems to work fine.

    Thanks for sharing.

    something is not working right..

Now that i watched the video, i realize mine is not doing the same thing: After the message saying the changes are being made, my install goes back to the playlist (in the audio player) and the tag DO NOT change from what it was. In the video you can see the tag change and everything stay in the editor screen until you manually exit.

I went back to the audio browser and reloaded the playlist but the tag still had the old info.

I made sure i was looking at "tagartist", "tagtittle" etc. labels and not "trackname", "tracktittle" etc.

Funny thing is when i look at the track in tag&rename, the tag IS changed to the new information i put in.

For some reason it's not refreshing in the playlist..

If i could just figure out why the edit screen doesn't stay after the info is written.

    Appreciate any help..
