I have now Updated the plugin to work with the new Dynamic Menus (This of course means I have also done Carwings skin files) Hope Robby doesn't mind - Enforcer

This is based on the 1.40 source and includes the Silent Alert fix.
Ok I've tried doing a reconfig using "RRTMS Config.exe" several times trying to fix my problem. When I run RR it stills shows KP and not PSI; also Celsius and not Fahrenheit. The "RRTMS.INI" says pressure=2 and temperature=1. What could it be??
those are the default settings, which means the plugin is not reading from the rrtms.ini
Which version are you using?
I'm using the 1.40 version. On a i7 Win7 box with 8GB RAM.
Robbys 1.40 version reads the rrtms.ini in the plugins folder (in theory) (he has used app.path which could mean it will try to read a rrtms.ini in RR's root path.)
Also if you are using Win7 unless you run the "RRTMS Config.exe" as admin it may not be able to write the new settings to rrtms.ini
I also notice the orginal plugin likes the ini to have spaces after the keyname (not sure whether it is important) but check for that also.

WOOHOO!!! I figured it out. The "RRTMS Config.exe" placed a copy of the "RRTMS.ini" in two different places. One was a small one (29bytes) under RR/Plugins/RTMS. The other was a large one (2kb) in Libraries/Docs/RR/plugins/RRTMS. I changed the smaller one to match the larger one and bingo it works.

Would it be possible to have a couple of features added to a later version to cover some of the deficiencies of the existing plugin/system?
- Higher/configurable data refresh rate: I guess the current implementation checks for updates in the microcontroller (uC) register every 30 seconds only. In case of fast leak, this may not be sufficient as I experienced in one such practical case wherein the system alerted much after the tire was completely flat. I guess moderns CarPCs can easily keep up with a 3-5 second refresh rate.
- Time Stamp: To see when the last data was received from each sensor to determine if the value is stale or valid. The uC does not seem to have an RTC to time-stamp the data received from the sensor, but I guess it would still be beneficial to time stamp based on system time.
The current refresh rate is 10 seconds.
I'm not sure what extra info is available from either Robbys PIC or the the devices as far as timestamp is concerned.
I will not be making any major changes to the RRTMS plugin, I was just bringing it up to date with the new RR and Carwings skin.
However I am doing a TPMS plugin for FreeICE based on RobbyBMWs orginal RR Code and in doing so will mirror any new functions to a RRTPMS plugin.
The Version I have working so far has user changeable refresh rate (secs) and I will look at doing a timestamp.
However the timestamp will probably be based on last time the data changed, that I think is the only way of knowing that it is a new reading.
