Well I'm not going out of my way to do anything with it yet.
But when my focus goes onto FITPMS both an RRTPMS and a android app may be a by product.
However no promises.
I have now released my new updated version as RRTPMS
I've bought The 3rd Eye kit and I have the Robby Board too. I've chopped the 3rd Eye board in half and am soldering it to the Robby Board. Is there just the two pins (jp3) on the end of the board (the opposite end from the USB connector) ?
There are 3 connections from the cut board to the base board as seen in picture. you need to scrape the coating off on the one spot before soldering SNO
Whatever doc I have, wherever I found it, makes no reference to connecting JP1 and JP2.
For the connection onto JP1 (bottom right of your photo) do I need to bring a leg off JP1 to the arrowed side of that on-board component, connecting only at the point under the marking B8 ?
you need to bend a pin over that component but it does not matter which side of component you solder to, that component is not used after you cut the board, the opposite side you need to scrape off the coating before you solder to the trace. Hope this is clear enough for you. SNO
I bought the set of 3rd Eye sensors on eBay and then bought the Board needed to adapt it for the CarPC. I have chopped up the 3rd Eye board as specified and soldered it to the new USB board. However, after running RRConfig, it seems to see nothing.
Is there any way of telling if I have made the new USB board correctly ? Or if my sensors are dead ? The instructions originally seemed to confirm that the sensors would become active when a tyre was pressureised. Or do I have to run the Config tool, and deflate and re-inflate each tyre one by one ?
let me see some pictures of your board and do you have the sensors in your tires now? SNO
Thanks SNO. The sensors are already inside the tyres
Here is the module
Does windows see the device in device manager? should show as hid device. SNO
Also have you tried TPMS Doctor its a robby made app for testing http://twintower.homeip.net/twintowe...octor-1.30.zip
