I am in the car for two hours a day, and i see alot of eejits on the road, and some things you wouldnt believe ! , What i would like to be able to do is have a recording buffer and only save a file after i have seen an incident, i have tried the settings in the ini but they dont seem to do anything as yet.

maybe i can achieve what i want using the idle and timer commands to record small clips and set a button to copy the file into an archive directory but thats about the limits of my skill.

Just press the record button whenever you see an accident, and it should record. or you could make an autoit script to copy the latest file to the archive directory whenever you press the button. then just change the command line in the config.ini for the button command to run the program.

No idea man.. sounds like an issue with your camera settings. or is the cinergy 600 a capture card?

That is something i need to fix in the skin. here it is for anyone that has already downloaded it.. just paste everything below in to the rrcam.skin file. im also going to update the zip file in the first post to include it for anyone that hasnt already installed the latest..

Hi Inh thanx for the wonderful software

Well i am still having difficulty in configuring this.....
BAsically i am using DFx skin at 1024 x 786 res....
And am trying to use the in built PNG files for RR along with its buttons....
and all i could figure out is the 3 buttons
---Record, Snap shot and Mirror ( working fine )
---Overlay, Custom text and Date/time ( not able to configure )

Also the Active viewing area is not in the correct position and CHANGING the Config is not doing any change......

So you tried changing the position settings in the config file and it didnt work?
Are you using the latest DFX skin, and are you trying to use the skin that comes with DFX, or the skin in the latest release of RRCam?

To set custom text, you just need to change it in the config file, and also make sure that it is set to display. Under the General section, you need to set these accordingly to get the text to display

Text4Startup=False

Set them to True to get the text to display
