the side buttons arent supposed to work yet.. they will never work with the label version of the movie details. Once the custom list version of the details is done i will be able to use those side buttons to scroll the details. I'm glad to hear its working now tho .. cause i really didnt have an answer to what the problem was lol.

The skin was created by custommx3. I'm not sure of the name of it though.

Thanks for the comment on the skin.. Its one I created on the fly for this plug-in. Sonic was nice enough to help me resolve my issue with it, so I made this for him.

Sonic, With the newly added 15 theaters to the list, something strange has happened. The main theater that I go to here, is no longer listed with the same zip code.

In the movietimes folder, I noticed the theaters that are generated in a text file. Is there a way that you could delete the theaters from that you do not want, and then not update it again? Out of the 15 theaters that show up in my area, 80% of them are pretty bad. (Dollar theaters, dirty/rundown theaters, old theaters ect, crappy seats and sound theaters, you get the point ). It would be great to put just the theaters in the list that you want to use.

As I mentioned, 90% of the time, you are going to be looking for theaters in your own area, and hardly ever change it.

Possibly a "Local" button, that will load a localltheaterlistings.txt file. This way you can have your defaults, and the ability to view other theaters using an alternate zipcode ect. Thinking about this now, that is probably the very easiest way to do it.

Great work on this for sure, and it is getting used quite a bit! I have RR Running on a 15" touch screen embedded in the wall. It's great to just tap the screen and bring up movie times and such! Far easier than trying to navigate a website on a touch screen!

well i might not apply to alot of area's out there but here in DC if i drive 10 miles in any direction i end up in a different zip code which pulls up a whole lot of other movie theaters that are closer than my "local" theaters to my home zip code. But what i can do is create a "favorites" command that would read theaters from theaterfavs.txt and compile the theater list. that text file will be created by a new "ADDTHEATERFAV" command which will take the selected theater in the theater list. Hows that sound?

    Thumbs up

That sounds fantastic!!! It's a shame to have the "bad theaters" take up space in the list of 15, and that is a perfect way around it!

I don't want to make this complicated, but would it also be hard to make a "black list"?

As in, you click on "Do not show this theater again" button (or a minus sign/etc), and then it gets added to a theater_exclude.txt, and your program will automatically not list any theater listed in theater_exclude.txt?

Then, if you frequently travel to many different areas, you won't have to have a favorites list that doesn't apply in some other town.. you would just blacklist theaters in various locations as you encounter them on the list, and they would just not show up in the theater list, regardless of where you are.

i dont see a need for this.. i mean you have 15 theater options as is.. why not just NOT pick that theater u dont want to go to. Adding a black list wont add another theater to the theater list all it would do is make the program take even more time everytime theaters are gathered. The favorites list will be very simple, see a theater and no matter where it is i cant be added tot he favorites list, there wont even be a limit of 15. That list will be limitless.

If someone can come up with a better reason to have a black list then let me know.. but i dont really wanna limit a program that already (to me) as too many limits.
