Putting this all together....
if I modify my file structure as such:
where *m3u have relative paths to the songs
(ie: abcde/abc/look of love.mp3) and load the playlist into rr -- I now can add it to a disk, effectively adding that playlist to the database.
Any ideas on what could be going wrong on my problem (post #434)? Thanks.
(tried to post 12 hours ago - didn't get through - sorry if it gets doubleposted)
First off - great plugin! RR+DFX4+RRMedia is just what I need for my audio..
I am new to RR and maybe I am missing something obvious but I have a couple of issues which I think related to RRMedia..
-- Foreign characters (Russian, in my case) in mp3 tags do not show correctly in RM_Media.skin of DFX4 (and in RRMedia demo skin either). They are fine in Audio_Browser.skin
Please see screenshots here - DigitalFX 4.0
-- RRMedia database builder seems to stumble on accented latin characters (german umlauts, french, hungarian, etc). It reports empty tags while they are not empty..
Are those known issues? Is there a workaround. Is this being worked on?
i finally got around to installing 1.2. And i successfully updated the database. Everything seems to be working, but i dont see the [entire collection] entries in the lists. Do i need to rebuild the database for those?
I do not seem to be able to download v1.2 when I click on the RRMedia download link I only have options for Skin Editor and RRConfig.exe? I am just dumb?
scroll across i found that out lol... need wide view scr for blues dl site lol...
I don't know what your talking about, everything is on the left side.
There is nothing you have to do..you should have that at the top of the diff browse mode lists... only thing i can think of is to check and make sure your RMediadb.exe is v1.2...
