is it possible that anyone gives me a copy of his support folder. perhaps i found the reason in this way.
The support folder only contians "helper files" and files that are created durring scans would only be related to the system that its being ran on.
What I might suggest is to del the db file, do the scan and either after it finishes or you get an error, zip up - rmdatabase folder, db file & your rate.in_ files and email em to me at ard781976 at yahoo com i have a look at this, with having a snap shot of everything a once, it should be much easier to see what is causing your issue. Is your db file still only ~29k in size?
all of it is true if i scan my music folder with version 1.0. i get all files you are talking about. i see whats missing...year, genre..aso.
i get NO file with faults in my songs.
because the slider in roadrunner didnt work with version 1.0 i upgrade it to 1.2.2. (your patch)
the starlist function didnt work.
so i ran the DB1.1 updater.
the db with scanned song is 2376kB.
and it didnt works.
i delete the db in my music folder and start in your RRMedia skin "Build Database"
he found the musicpath...scanned it....found NO playlists..after a short time its ready and it told me "O files found"
the file is 29k.
because the disc space i use music was very small i build a new folder on another harddrive.
1 genre folder i copied to this new music folder, fix the new adress in the rr.ini and start a new building of the db.
the result is a 29k file
you see i try all ways of getting a db bigger than 29k. it dont like me.
Sorry, GF-ler but that empty db file tells me nothing, i need everything RRMedia related. If would re-read my post it said what i wanted.
Hello, I just want to say this is a great plugin. I have one problem that I can't seem to figure out. When i'm in browse mode and I have a mp3 selected, when I hit the "Play Select" button, it doesn't work. After about 15 seconds, it starts playing all these weird sounds. The thing I figured out is that if the mp3 is in the root folder that it does this.
ie I set my default directory to D:\Music and have some mp3s in this folder and sub folders for albums. When I try to play any songs in the root directory, it doesn't work. But when I go into a sub folder, it plays it fine with the "Play Select." I even changed to the default folder to "D:\" and it works fine this way.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
Good question...and right now, I don't know. I'd have to move some files around and see what is causing this.
Great! So this is not just some user error then. I though it kinda strange that a simple thing like this kinda went unnoticed so I thought I was doing something wrong.
Blue, is there a way to do a search for multiple tag properties? For example, songs from Genre=R&B AND Year>2000?
Also, I'm running into some problems with loading a playlist to a Disc, but I'm not sure if it's a DFX problem or a RRMedia problem, or if it's just me. I'll play around with it some more to see what's going on.
No, the only way something like that would be possible would be for me to add a cmd to be able to spec a custom query, like WA's "active winamp" plugin...hmmm
Not sure if would be easier, but being able to search only within search results would be another way to do it. I wouldn't mind manually doing two searches to slim down the results to get a more specialized playlist.
