i'm new to RMdb plugin. first i want to thank blue for his effort done so far.
i also have some issue building the database. it stops at 33%.
when i restart riderunner and clicked rescan, it picks-up from 32% and stops again at 33%.
the rmbuilder returns an error: unrecognized token: "" Lite.X.LiteStatement.1
i isolated the folder with the bad mp3s and renamed it with tag & Rename to 2.3 but it still doesn't work.
will the new RM 1.3 resolve this?
Will the new version have the option to sort by Track Number?
In Playlist (Sort List shows...)
RRMedia supports By Track when it creates the playlist to play. Those opts are using WA directly to sort the list, which doesn't have that. I don't know why either....
Maybe a simple $SongTitle = StringReplace($SongTitle,Chr(34),"") would do the trick in the builder code where the tag is initially read? This would kill any potential errors, if they exist or not, more just "Being on the safe side" so to speak.
I get a similar but different error on my song import at 99% complete. I am using DFX 4 with RR media upgraded to 1.22 using the patch exe. The error isCan I figure out what song is the problem if any, or is this a syntax error in the RRMedia code?near ",": syntax error LiteX.LiteStatement.1
E..err both sorta
It probably a coma(s) in a tag somewhere causing the issue. Seeing that it got 99% it must be a song that is in on of the last folders(alpha wise) in your music path.
I am eagerly awaiting v.1.3; I have too many songs to test as it is right now.
I actually think this should be part of the standard RR code! Media management, playlist creation, etc. should be in every skin. (My favorite one, Carwings, does not have it, sadly).
I'm sad to hear about unicode issues, though. How can they be a problem? It's just a tag? ().
Hope they can be solved, I have a lot of music with Unicode tags.
