I notice random sort in RRmedia only works from the root directory, that is i have main dir and mutiple subdir if I select the main dir then random sort works, if I select a subdir then the songs play in Alphabetical order. Using dfx 5.1 but same problem with other skin.

I have not noticed this, but will keep in mind when I get to updating this plugin.

I am having an issue where I just imported my music directory, it found all the songs and said everything went ok. When I go to find them however when I open the folder it shows nothing inside of it. Also on one song that did show up when I played it there was no song information (Artist, etc.) Please help.

I seem to be having the same problem. When using the Browser button, it pulls up a list of the subdirectories and the albums listed in the subdirectory but when I click on the album no songs show. If I use the songs option, I see all of my songs and they work fine. Thinking its got something to do with a corrupted RRmedia.db file that I did not remove when I re-did my collection of music. I'll look into that tomorrow, and post if I figure anything out.
Folder structure? Might help to know...

Hey Blue,
My structure is as follows
Music path D:\MP3s
Under the MP3s folder it is broken down as such: MP3s\Artist\Album\ Ex: D:\MP3s\2pac\All Eyes on Me\"songs"
I used this exact same structure a few years ago and had no problems at all.
Thanks.

taguy,
My directory is the same as yours, and getting the same result. Been working with it for a couple of days, with limited success. It seems that the folder view in the browser has gotten broken. See if you can access your songs by pushing the button labeled Browser in the Music skin, then Browser Mode and select Artist. This should bring up a listing of your artists with albums available upon clicking. Click on the album, and the songs should show up and play. This is not the way it used to be and we are not the only ones experiencing this change, based on some new posts over on the DFX5.1 forum. Also, when trying various things, it seemed that the database was getting corrupted and I was getting a lot of duplicates showing up. If this happens, just delete the RRmedia db file and rescan.
Whatever is causing this is beyond my meager abilities, but the above workaround should hold us until Blue or John figure out the issue. Hope this helps.
