1.the you MUST use CLOSEMAIL to terminate the mapi connection or the list screen wont be able to establish a new connection. I'm brainstorming for ideas around this but that explains the issue.
2. Sorting is SUPPOSED to be handled by a a method in the mapi functions but i too have noticed it doesnt work correctly. I will work in my own sorting method.
3. I will fix this... but in the temporary just change the arrow buttons to <COMMAND>||ONCLCLICK ex. UP||ONCLCLICK
Tomorrow i will be releasing a debug enabled version with all the improvements i can fit into a days worth of work. Hopefully that will help us track down the contact list issue.
i have no idea why but the fetchsorted method for message retrieval simply isnt working. No error messages or anything. I even tried sorting the messages outside of the mapi procedure but vb6 doesnt have any date sort routines. I'm seriously considering making this a .net app
great news sonics, as for the other problems mentioned so far , up/down buttons i'm pretty sure they work for me, and i have not noticed the list going blank after a read , just the double up of lines when useing up/down which you seem to think you have solved, or solving, i can't be 100% as i can't tetst till i'm back at work in 2 days time.
still trying to get it to work here ,
this is gonna be delayed guys i've had a crazy day at work and i'm only halfway done adding the debug lines. I'll have to pick it up monday.
