I will have several temp and voltage sensors, a 400 PSI Air gauge, and 2 current sensors. I guess now would be the most opportune time to ask that current and pressure be added to your plug-in. outahere I intend to use the same circuit greenman100 shows in this thread, but I don't know what equation he's using to translate his numbers. I need temps to 240F, voltages to 24V, amps to 75A, and pressure to 250 PSI. (No more than 2 decimal places for any of these) I guess we really need to bring Greenman100 and 2k1Toaster into this thread for the computational and associated hardware setups to make this all work uniformly for everyone.
That's how I intend to use them. Others use external switches to tell the brain to run commands, programs, interface with sdks, etc. 2k1Toaster is the man to really explain this.
He's given me the formulas already in PM.. me understanding them is a different thing lol. But now that i have someone to test them it'll help tremendously. I've done some work to add the digital ins but havent yet tested it outta laziness (SO close to vacation! lol). But i'll make some effort to get on it today. Does it matter which pin the 5v line is connected to for the digIns?
Unless you're talking about which one of the 4 digital inputs he wants to use, then yes.
There's a helpful picture in the hardware manual on page 3.
There, on the right side +5V is being supplied by the board, the input pins themselves are attached to the left-hand pins. The idea being the you can hook up a switch or pushbutton across any of the 4 sets of 2 pins (top to bottom). +5V can be taken from anywhere though, as long as they share a common ground.
ok that makes sense.. thanks.
Been readin through the thread and it all looks great. Any body been communicating with any skinners interested in doing something when this is all running?
I downloaded the software provided by Fusion Brain...And well...Not easy at all..To me anyways. I think a general FAQ/How to for some basic stuff would really point thinking in the right direction... I have heard "Fog Lights" mentioned umpteen times, so, who has done it? And how? I here a lot of great ideas but see no results..Just a suggestion to an ambitious hopeful future uses of the device.
sorry.. been sleepin on my own thread. I'll have the ini option version out tomorrow. As for digital ins... I still dont have them working. They dont seem to read the same way as the other information. Considering the next FB wont have them anyway i'm thinkin of just leaving them out of RRFusion.
Expect a release in the morning for an .ini though. I'll also be adding a new command for the digital outs that allow users to specify how long they want they digital out stays on. Useful for things like windows and sunroofs i spose.
ok i'm a day late but....
NEW VERSION RELEASED. Link in post 1!
-added analog input decimal rounding in rrfusion.ini
-added DIGITALOUT#SWITCH;SECONDS to automate opening and closing a digital port by the specified number of SECONDS
-IMPORTANT!!!!!!- Removed analog input types from skin.ini. These should now be placed in rrfusion.ini
Thanks to my boy BLUEZX3 with helping parse complexed RR plugin commands
for those people that have custom sensors or sensors other than temp and light sensors PLEASE make requests to get things added to RRFUSION. Please also test the figures displayed by rrfusion by comparing them to FCC so that i can confirm my formulas are right.
