I here a lot of great ideas but see no results..Just a suggestion to an ambitious hopeful future uses of the device.

Check for integer declarations. I screw that up every now and again.

There's a winner! For some reason i removed the INT() for ports 0,1,2,8, and 9 only. I knew it was a stupidity problem.

Anways, bug fixed, new release... which btw (thanks to mx270a) now includes digital inputs! There is a catch however. He mentioned this in his demo thread and i've experienced this myself... if nothing is connected to a digital input port the reading will be random i.e the indicator will sometimes be ON and sometimes be OFF. The digital inputs are somehow tied to certain digital output ports. However, if you connect something to the digital in you will get the correct value for that IN. If you dont use digital ins at all and just want them to shut up and not show ON then ground each digital input.

I did VERY brief testing with digital ins in this release so i need someone familiar with how they work to test. Link on page 1

    Sonic,

Installed RRFusion on my laptop coded everything in to the skins changed labels etc. Everything worked really well!

Then I took the FusionBrain out to the car and installed on the carputer. Copied RR and all new files folders. Installed the FusionBrain drivers and then Installed RRFusion.
Started RR and go into my FusionBrain skin, Hmm no feedback from the indicators at all looks like there is no communications from the FB. BUT... the analog levels and converted levels are working. Tried the buttons and they are toggling the outputs correctly, just not changing in the skin.

As far as I can tell there could be two reasons for this, can you help me figure out which one.

    1. CarPC does no have MDX installed
    2. I do not have the correct .Net version

    Cheers

FCC and MDX dont need to be installed at all. My guess would be your .net version. Update to 3.5. Also go into the device manager and make sure the FB is installed and
the name is "Da Fusion Brain". For awhile there there was another driver that didnt install the same way. Ooo another thing u could be experiencing is RR's plugin bug. If all of that fails try disabling all plugins except rrfusion. If THAT is the problem then what u needa do is switch the order of your plugins to see which order enables all plugins to work.

    Sonic,

Thanksw for you help. Updated to .net 3.5 took ages and crashed because I did not have enought temp room. But got it done, no change. Drivers everything else for da Fusion Brain checked out. As I said before plugin was working just the indicator were not changing, so no problems getting the info in.

So I changed the order of my plugins (only run RRFusion and Milage) and now RRFusion is showing the indicators correctly and Milage is not. I will leave it at that as Milage only has one indicator and I do not use it very often at all.

    Cheers

    Sonic,

Guess we'll just have to wait for the next release.

Had some idle time and decided to tidy up some sceens for my skin.
So I re-did your sample skin (hope you don't mind) and put in a connected indicator graphics and down images.

Have attached it here so if you like you can use it and add it to the rrfusion D/L.

    Cheers

    Happy to help.

I spent some time today building the hardware to monitor voltages in the car and was thinking about how to get RFusion working with the hardware. I believe that it should be quite easy. Basically measuring voltages is just sticking in a voltage divider and working out the ratios between the two halves.

This is what I have used:
    Warning bad ASCII art follows:

    Code:

+12(batt) GND ---- To FB GND
            | |
            > >
          < 3K3 < 1K
            | |
            --*---
               |
               |---- TO FB Input
This gives a voltage divider total of 4300 ohms and works out to be about 2mA of current.

To turn the resulting voltage on the FB to something useable it just need to be divided by the decimal ratio: eg 1000/4300 = ~0.23255814
So if the FB reads 3.43v then the voltage being measured is 3.43/0.23255814 or 14.75V.

Perhaps you could add and input type "Voltage Divider" and require a correction figure similar to the example above to give a formatted output. This may be easier than allowing any formula as a input to get things started.

I'm thinking particulary of thing like an inclinometer where the formula is:
    inclination= arcsin ((Vout-offset)/sensetivity))
    With typical values inclination=arcsin((Vout - 2.5 )/2)
Not as easy as a voltage divider.

If I can help in any way just drop me a post here or a PM.

Thanks again for all your hard work.
