yes.. but i'm stuck on something pretty important. i can get the new version to connect to the hardware and read from it. My problem now is my disconnect function gives me an error and i cant figure out for the life of me why. I've got someone much more familiar with .net looking at it for me. Hopefully he can figure it out cause after 2 days of doin nothing but trying to solve the issue i'm stumped. Definitely havent given up yet though!

I was on the phone with Nick for a couple hours a few nights ago, with a somewhat related problem. For some reason the hardware is not disconnecting when I close the MDX software. I have to either unplug and replug the FB, or disable and then re-enable it in device manager. It will not reconnect and work unless I do this. He was working on finding out why, and had me test about 10 different builds, and was not able to find the problem the other night, as it was getting pretty late.

I wonder if this is somehow related to the problem you are having in some way?

Sonic, I know we talked about this a month ago.. but it's here now.
Those of us using the FB and RRF together will need the plugin updated. If I'm the only one that is going to upgrade to the new FB then can I get the code so that I can rewrite the plugin. Expanding it to meet the new FB outputs and inputs... 4 me having it might make to where I only need 1 FB instead of 2. It might be that you would just need to extend the variables in the plugin. I'm not sure.

dunno how i missed new posts here but its gotta be related because using MDX does the same thing to me. I've reported this to nick as well. I'm afraid until the driver issue gets solved my work is still up in the air with RRFusion. Hate to sound like i'm making excuses but this way of coding is sorta new ground for me and the drivers bugging means i could be changing good code to bad code for no reason. Stay tuned...

So you close MDX, re-open, and it doesn't re-connect?

So could it be that they have updated the updater with the new software for the new FB? Mine is always looking for updates. If they have updated the updater with the new software and the machines are running a older version of the FB is that going to cause an issue?

All software we put out is compatible with all version of the Fusion Brain.

Ok I have bought one of the new FB's. Let the fun begin... lol It says you can power it using the USB. I like that idea.

Let hope RRF plays along.

Sonic, Will the new updates on here allow me to use the new V4 FB? I just got my V4 and wow is it small but I get no FB Active and nothing is working in my skin..

If you need a hand with anything at all let me know... I need the FB in my system for my battery monitoring and switches...

Well heck I got it all setup and I got nothing..... Rats... So my guess is the V4 don't work even with the latest update you have posted.

hmmm Ok if I need to help out I can... I have my FB v4. So if I need to test something or write some code or whatever I need to do to help out I can do. Let me know...
