woot got my fusion brain today! implementing this week. working on a remote starter....kinda hard in high security vehicles...but we shall see.

ultimate goal is to "remote control" the car over VNC with the Iphone....so far it looks very promising.

currently im facing the issue where to put the FB since it can get rather hot in the "EBOX" of the car... it would be the most convenient spot tough.... any idea how hot the board can run before i seriously lower the MTBF...?

How can I go about troubleshooting why the RRfusion plugin is not working? I seem to always have a problem when I install on a new computer...

This time I copied everything over exactly how I had it set up on my laptop and it does not seem to be working on my carpc...

How can I start trouble shooting to find out whats wrong??

    Thanks!

does the latest MDX work.. that would indicate you've got the correct driver installed. Have you checked your debug.txt to see if RR is loading the rrfusion.dll?

open up RRConfig, and in one 4 general tabs you will see debug enabled?. Make sure that setting is checked then run RR and open RR's root folder to find debug.txt.

If MDX works, you have .net 2.0 (which i believe MDX requires), and you have RRFusion.dll registered it should be able to run the command FBCONNECT in RR and be able to read analog raw inputs without any setting adjustments. converted inputs will need to be setup via the instructions in the readme

that means the plugins loaded.. which means it should be working. What exactly are you trying to do that makes you think its not working? run the command LOAD;rrfusion.skin... run the command FBCONNECT... and use your fb

when I plug the FB into my laptop it works and shows everything just fine... when i open the skin on my car pc.. its like a dead image, It does not show any values and the buttons dont work??

ok i successfully connected the fusion brain WOHO!

now can someone point me into the right direction of where i would start to program in some logic... for example i would like to turn on a Digital out when im going faster than 75mph (which is a RR variable...) how would i go about doing that????

also is there a way i can make a certain skin show for a couple of seconds whenever a analogue in goes over a certain value?

    thx for any help!
