Having a bit of trouble w/ the "BYSTR" command.

RRE v1.03

Hangs everytime it executes. Here's the snipet of the debug file:

Hi Blue,

Nice plugin. With the DNE section, does this fire off on resume from hibernate ? I'm asking because I don't think the Gamma gets set correctly after a resume with RREXT.

It fires which ever event's time it is anytime that its past that time. That feature only fires off events, for which you have to define what you want RR to execute. If you want to exec a gamma cmd then you have to set that using the custom fired events.

these are my day and night events ... but the gamma doesnt seem to kick in on a resume from hibernate ...

C&P only the DNE settings from the rr.ini or skin.ini that you are using along with a debug log. Turn on RR's debug, leave for a day or one hib/res that should have one of those being executed and attach to your post.

CODE and /CODE before and after on rr.ini file is it necessary or not ?

Do i to add X,RRExtended on Plugins.txt file ?

I had added these lines on my menu.skin file:
I,625,8,47,53,"QUE.EXE"
I,570,12,50,45,"NOTEPAD.EXE"

I had added this line on my Exectbl.ini file :
"ONSKINSTART","CWDSETUP||ONSTARTNOTEPAD.EXE||ONSTA RTQUE.EXE"

I use the last RideRunner version 2/2/2009

I see no indicator .

Where is my error ?

Can you help me please ?

yes you need to add X,RRExtended to plugins.txt if not already there.

its my understanding that the onstartXXX and onendXXX cmds
will show indicator when that app is running, as you have them in the onskinstart , unless the app is running from when you start the skin you won't see any ind show up.

plus how are you have the indcator show , have you used a image, or a label or a graphic in the on skins,

this is my understanding

The code & /code was only for posting in the forums, so is not needed in the ini...

Using the latest RR, you really don't need to add any ref to the plugin as long as you have it in either the RR root\Plugins\RRExtended or skinpath\Plugins\RRExtended.

Those lines are correct, as long as there is an on image in that location(s).

Those (ONSTARTNOTEPAD.EXE & ONSTARTQUE.EXE) are events that get fired when those app start/stop by RRExt. A different example for those would be like..

This line would load the xxx.skin when the notepad.exe process exists
"ONSTARTNOTEPAD.EXE","LOAD;XXXX.SKIN"

This line would load the Menu screen when the notepad.exe process no longer exists.
"ONENDNOTEPAD.EXE","MAIN"

Same actions as above but using the QUE.exe process name.
"ONSTARTQUE.EXE","LOAD;XXXX.SKIN"
"ONENDQUE.EXE","MAIN"

I had modified the Exectbl.ini file :
"ONSTARTQUE.EXE","LOAD;GMPC.skin"
"ONENDQUE.EXE","MAIN"

And Nothing !!!!

Only thing else that i can think of would be did you reg the dll by running the _Install.cmd in the plugin folder?
