this is onclclick cmd to set fav station
I created a favlist using the addfav command and am able to scan the favs in shoutcast_player, but you're right when I click a selection the third or fourth time, it crashes. Haven't done much diagnoses on this yet but you're not alone.

Is there a way to slow down the SCAN mode? The current timing works great on my dev machine (2.8G, DSL on ethernet) but the car is 1.2G with 128K on cellular and is too slow to actually buffer up before rrshoutcast loads the next stream. My winamp library scanmode is set at 15 seconds which gives my car time to buffer and update the streamtitle.

OBTW, some streams have an automatic intro of 5-10 second for station ID before the music starts playing which is all I hear with the current rrshoutcast scanmode. In addition to those some other streams change the streamtitle two or three times throughout a single song and rrshoutcast misses them all.

yesterday i noticed on my car system winamp crash when i tune to a favorite channel sometimes. No idea why.. but when i remove activewinamp the problem was solved. I need to figure out a way to use activewinamp to pull trackname... that would get rid of the 3rd party dll.

Scan mode was added at the last second. I will make the scan time setable thru OSK for the next release. And i didnt forget the sort by bitrate i just wanted to get get the rest of the core stuff working well before throwing in another wrinkle lol. This certainly isnt a final release so stay tuned.

Fixed a bug that occurs with certain connection types not being able to send/receive ping data (pda net users rejoice!). I'm working on the sort issue now. RRShoutcast.skin will be modified so that upon clicking a station name the labels display information for the selected station, not the currently playing station.

EDIT- Changed my mind that quick. There will be two sets of labels.... "selected" labels will show the selected content and "current" labels will show the tuned labels. Gonna have to edit the damn skin file again! Also, sort options include bitrate, listener count(default shoutcast sort), and alphabetical. Am i missing anything there?

Sorting by bitrate is giving me problems. Any of you coding gurus know how to sort an array by the value of one of its elements? There's no way to request the data sorted from the shoutcast server so i have to read it in and sort on the fly. All other sort methods are done. If there were a finite number of bitrates it'd be easy but i dont know shoutcast's minimum and maximum bitrate values.

I'm getting this same error... nothing I do makes it go away...

Tried putting files everywhere, I never had a problem until this version. I get the same error about WinampFrontEndLib.

tomorrow i'm dedicating my day to getting rid of the extra .dll and reading directly from winamp. TODAY i finally got sorting done. Sorting by bitrate was a glorified PITA. Its limited to the bitrates 32,48,56,64,96,128,160, & 192. If any other bitrate is found it will be ignored and not added to station results. I can however add any bitrate to the function. I just havent found a station that doesnt use one of those bitrates. So Yay or Nay here? Any other requests.. speak now!

At some point i will be adding a filter option to add a little bit more flexibility. Basically, you will be able to limit your station results to bitrates higher/lower than a specified number. Hopefully this will help you get only the stations you want to listen to. If all goes well with reading directly from winamp i should have a new version out tomorrow. All future versions will include an easy to use debug log.

Also figured out how to read directly from winamp. No more 3rd party library
