It connects in 3 seconds to BS and is simultaneously recognized in my skinfile. I have not yet configured it the way I want it but I can make calls, receive calls and transfer audio. BS recognizes it as a smartphone with 3 services (dialup, file transfer, BT-audio).

Pairing was a piece of cake, PUSH files also. It connects automatically to BS.
Tonight I'll try if the battery- and reception bars work. Maybe even SMS?!

My PC (Mac Mini 2.0) is set as desktop... I can change this option but somehow BS changes it back to desktop! ... %-)
I haven't had mine connected in a while because I don't have my microphone properly connected, so no point. But my Motorola Milestone(Droid) (FW2.1) connected with no problems. Could make and receive calls easier than with my previous BB8301/8330?. Bluetooth audio also worked right off, so Trapster notifications played though the stereo. Battery and signal is hit and miss, and never accurate - though I haven't had a phone to show those properly yet.
Haven't dove into checking SMS or email options, but I don't recall getting any notifications when receiving new messages.

The BS setting for desktop/laptop has no affect as the plugin forces the change to desktop to establish the connection - Lambo mentioned this a few posts ago.

One of these days I'l get my microphone connected back and used this more often... just gotta figure out/deal with the echo I still get...ugh

Lambosprit, I have the same problem as opelastrah: RR log shows this error:

    Code:
Plugin Manager: Plugin Found: MobilePhone(.NET) plugin found but will be unable to create (most likely NOT registered)[skipped]
Plugin does not create any log, even with debug level set to 5. Plugin registered correctly (same message as in opelastrah post).

Any ideas? Where to dig? Please help.

System: WinXP SP3 Tablet, RR august version, .NET version 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 installed, Blutooth WidComm 5.0.

Have tried to setup plugin w/ and w/o bluetooth support - same results.

Copy the dll you currently have for both mobilephone and the bswrapper then try installing this version and copying the dll's back. Make sure you have vc++ 8.0.50727.42 only installed.

if it works please tell me as I want to find out why this is happening.

    lambosprit, thanks for help.

    Here what I've done:
    1. Uninstalled latest version (1.15)
    2. Uninstalled VC 2010 redist
    3. Installed version 1.14 from your archive w/ ATSM
    4. Installed VC redist from your archive
At this point plugin is able to start and create it's own log:
    Code:
    RR Log:
04/09/2010 20:35:45: Plugin Manager: loading Global Plugins...
    04/09/2010 20:35:46: Plugin Manager: Plugin Found: MobilePhone(.NET)

    04/09/2010 20:35:46:Info : Connected to phone
After changing dll's to the 1.15 version, problem returns - plugin isn't loaded, no log created.

With 1.14 version I have another issue - it ignores COM port setting in the .ini file and always uses COM7. In the log above, it stated, that it has connected to the phone - but it isn't true - no phone was connected to the COM7 at the moment.

I didn't realise you where using the atsm. This is lucifers code and I dont know if it still works, I have probably broken it with all my tinkering. Are you using ATSM intentionally?

Well, as i'm not using bluesoleil, i use ATSM mode to connect phone by com port and connect headset gateway manually. Moreover, I get it work on my desktop computer using cable connection and setup phone on COM7. Also I've tried bluesoleil (current version 8.0.338) on desktop computer - plugin cannot connect to the phone using bluetooth.

ok. I found a bug with reading the ini settings so that should now be fixed.

As for BS, I noticed they had a new version out and have been trying it out. I cant get BS to see my phone now let alone pair with it. I also cant see the SDK listed on their site anymore so I have a fear that this new version may be a problem for th plugin.

Anyway, if you want the new version to test with atsm just pm me with an email address.

EDIT. Well the news is good. I managed to get BS 8 to work with the plugin.
