I managed to get my phone (HTC HD2) with Freefone, but it does nothing else, that's why I really want to use your plugin, but the installation of bluesoleil displease me.

    Greetings.
The plugin works in two modes, bluetooth for which you must have Bluesoleil installed, and ATSM mode. The atsm mode is just lucifers original code which may or may not still work (I may have broken it with all my messing).

You could try the atsm stuff an see if it works.

What am i doing wrong?!
It would help if you said which skin it was you're using but the following line should work in most skins

    LOAD;mobilephone.skin;Mobilephone.net;Mobilephone. NET

check that you actually have the mobilephone.skin file in your skins folder.

well i uninstalled and reinstalled rr and mobilephone and now its working! only thing different that i can think of is the dll registered automatically this time. im not gona complain!

    plugin works great, i can make and answer calls, etc. a few problems;

mobilephone connects to my phone fine, but wont reconnect. if i play with BS settings and connect/unconnect it for a while it will eventually reconnect. are there specific settings/services/etc that need to be set in BS?

im also having problems with my mic only providing static. im assuming its probably a windows setting, but playing around with them hasnt fixed it.

and on a side note, not sure if this even matters, i happened to look at the plugin manager, and mobilephone wasnt listed, even though it was working. i then changed the windows 7 permissions for RR to "run as administrator" and it now shows up.

Just wana say you're doing awesome work Lambo and everyone else working on this. Phone control has been one of my "holy grail" items, and im really excited this plugin is working as well as it is!

    Bananas are also yellow.

It would help if you gave the context and maybe the debug log output.

Installer hangs up at trying to register mobilephone.dll
This is as far as it gets:
    Checking your .NET Framework version...
.NET Framework Version found: 2.0.50727, equal or newer to required version: 2.0.5.
    Proceeding with remainder of installation.
    Output folder: C:\Program Files\RideRunner
    Extract: BSWrapper.ini
    Output folder: C:\Program Files\RideRunner\plugins\Mobilephone.NET
    Extract: MobilePhone.dll... 100%
    Extract: ATSMS.dll... 100%
    Extract: ATSMS.xml... 100%
    Extract: BSWrapper.dll... 100%
    Extract: mobilephone.chm... 100%
    Execute: "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Reg Asm" "C:\Program Files\RideRunner\plugins\Mobilephone.NET\mobilepho ne.dll" /tlb:mobilephone.tlb /codebase "

Windows 7, RR Oct. 2010 in profile mode, DFX5
also RR 12-12-10 in profile mode and not in profile mode, Car Wings Lite
    Debug log MobilePhoneDebug.txt

Riderunner can't start unless I delete the Mobilephone.Net folder, there's an error box "Mobilephone Fatal message" - about mobilephone.ini not found and it closes RR.

I ran the installation file successfully, but mobilephone is not showing up in my plugin list. I tried to manually register the dll and it was successful even though it gave a warning about renaming the file:

I also have debugging (level 5) enabled but there is no debug file created.

    C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>rega sm "C:\Program Files\RideRunne
    r\Plugins\Mobilephone.NET\mobilephone.dll" /tlb:mobilephone.tlb /codebase

    Types registered successfully
    Assembly exported to 'C:\Program Files\RideRunner\Plugins\Mobilephone.NET\mobile

The debug says you are trying to use the ATSM code. If you want to use Ble Soliel go to the ini file and change the PhoneLink=Blue. You will also need to set your phones MAC address in this ini.

What version of windows are you running?
Where did you look for the log file? Did you look for the BSWrapper.log as well?
I know it sounds like a fob off but have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling (after restarting)?

the codebase issue, its probly something that shouldnt be codebased anyway... since it wont ever need to go into the GAC nor will any other application need this .dll
just remove the /codebase from the regasm code in the installer
    -Thanks
