I've tested the plugin and is well working i have just a little problem of audio with the the first call (i've fixed it making a fake call to phone number and after some sec it hangup , when phone connect) but i would ask some questions:
- The plugin uses a txt file as phonebook, is possible sync the file with the phonebook on the mobile? So when the mobile connect the phonebook on the carpc is the same as the one on the mobile
- The only file txt that update is the MobilePhone_DC , while MobilePhone_MC and MobilePhone_RC are empty (i'm the onlyone with this problem?)
- The sms functions works? I mean is possible to read the sms (incoming,sent,recived,archive) and send a new one?
- Is possible to show the SIM list?

I ask because i'm a little confused, i've read about other software but are outdated / dead / no-more supported but i find in skin commands:

"SHOWPHONELIST" - Sets the Phone's Phonebook in current skin's list
"SHOWSIMLIST" - Sets the SIM Card's Phonebook in current skin's list

"SHOWRECEIVEDCALLS" - Sets the Received Call's List in current skin's list
"SHOWDIALEDCALLS" - Sets the Dialed Call's List in current skin's list
"SHOWMISSEDCALLS" - Sets the Missed Call's List in current skin's list
"SHOWRECEIVEDSMS" - Sets the Received SMS List in current skin's list
"SHOWOUTGOINGSMS" - Sets the Outgoing SMS List in current skin's list
"SHOWSENTSMS" - Sets the Sended SMS List in current skin's list

Those commands are from the old built in interface to phonecontrol.

ah so is from phonecontrol that is non usable as i've read, so this plugin in totally another thing
And about the other questions i suppose it have the sms/sim support because i see on post #2 a pic of the vb source with buttons:
sms read - sms send
sim - missed - recived
or maybe are just grapich buttons and function are not yet implemented

Is this one the only working mobile plugin at moment right?

It's the only one actively-ish being developed and supported.

I have been getting this error too. To get around it, hit cancel when it asks to install the vc runtime (assuming you've already installed it). The installer will then complete. However, once I then started up RR, it threw an error complaining that the .ini file wasn't to be found in Documents\RideRunner\Plugins\MobilePhone.NET. So, I copied the .ini file from ProgramFiles/RideRunner/etc there are started up RR. RR will load but then it quickly forcequits itself. Looking at the event viewer, I am getting the following:

I am running Windows 7 Professional x86, BlueSoleil 8.0.390.0, .NET 4, and VC++ 2010, and the April RR.

Any ideas?

Ok finally got this installed but I'm getting the following error message when I click the "Add" button. I'm using the DFX5 skin. Also, I'm not really sure of the format for adding numbers and contact names to the MobilePhone_PC.txt. Any assistance is greatly appreciated
