I can make and receive calls but when a call comes through I do not get any pop ups on the screen or anything. Time to search through 127 pages....AGAIN!

ok I got the photo to show up when I am getting a call but for some reason its showing the phone number in both the number and the name field, How can I fix that? My MobilePhone_Pc.txt file is formatted in the following way
    Phone Number||Name (1234567890||hpric)

Ok this has now been fixed

I've been having trouble getting mobilephone.net to be reliable. I'm not sure if it is a bluesoleil issue or mp.net. I put my carpc into standby when I turn the key off. I can see on the screen the indicator for the phone will go out then the system goes to standby.

maybe 4 out of 5 times it will resume just fine. But sometimes it doesn't. I have seen bluesoleil not enabled, I've seen it enabled but yet mp.net doesn't connect. Once they stop talking, I find the only solution is to reboot the whole thing and then everything works fine. sometimes when it gets disconnected if I try to quit ride runner, it restarts immediately. I have also seen that when I close it successfully I still see a roadrunner(I think) process still running.

I know this is a ton of info quick. I've been messing with this for several weeks and reading here and there and just not finding an answer. I have the latest bluesoleil as I purchased it about 2 weeks ago.

That sounds about the same as what I've got from time to time. RR crashing and then when opening it again, if I close it, it will open right back up and I have to close that instance.
Also the same situation. I'm running a laptop and just have it into standby when turning the car off.

This has been the case even without the phone connected to BS since I just recently connected my 'new' phone which I've had for 6 months. I also have issues with OBDMPG crashing if the reader doesn't power up in time.

So other than sharing your pain I've got nothing else to offer - except you're not alone.

Makes me feel better for sure but I must find a solution.

I took a 6 hour trip yesterday and it was fine through 5 stop starts at places around then last start of the night, no go.

I'd like to try to iron out which apps fault it is(mp.net, bluesoleil, or even rr) then go after that program. I guess I'll start with logging in mp.net?

Anybody have any good troubleshooting ideas?

I think alot of issues are more related to mp.net. The past week I've had it where the phone will connect to the computer, show it has a signal in RR - but then unhandled exceptions when trying to do anything.
Kinda annoying cause you think it's gonna work - but then it doesn't. Usually a restart of RR works, but beyond that its a reboot.

hmmmm. Yeah, currently it isn't working again and I haven't taken the time to reboot as it is a royal PITA. Is this plugin still "supported" or is lambo no longer around?

Side note, I was just up in CA. I didn't make it to Ontario (I was in Quebec mostly). Reminds me how bad my French is. Very impressed with how nice almost everybody was. You have a great country. I wish we Americans could get our heads out of our butts and be a little nicer. Course there was that one guy that had a fit cause I didn't go at a flashing green light... what the hell is a flashing green anyway haha!

Resume issues are attributed to bluesoleil, especially older builds. They're interface has always been somewhat buggy. It's better after 8.0+, but there are still times where the computer will resume disabled, or resume enabled but not in a "ready" state. Mobilephone.net repeatedly checks for available connection to the address in the .ini when the phone i disconnected, but BS returns as "busy".

OK, I can believe that. Is there any way to work around this? I have the latest build of BS. I think once I have noted it was "BT disabled" and all other times it has been enabled and my phone shows up but nothing is working. The little lines with transmit balls are not there and MP.net doesn't show connected.

Is there anything in the logs for MP.net that could backup the theory?

From poking around on the BS forums... I think I would have more luck making a BS replacement from ground up rather than get them to help.

I never have the problem anymore, but then, my BT dongle is on a smart automotive hub, so it disconnects when ignition turns off (before the PC shuts off) and completely restarts at resume. Short of this band-aid, I dont know what can be done.
