I wrote a BT mobilephone plugin for myself, but I have released the source code. It contains code that allows the phonebook to be downloaded from the phone. It also uses the BlueSoleil SDK.

Jut seen it and had a look. See your using the AT codes to down load the phonebook. I had a play with that but could never get it working. If I get the time I'll have another look using your ideas if you don't mind.

Well done on getting it to connect directly to the SDK. I tried for months and had to give up which is why the wrapper came into existance.

No worries, with the AT commands for the phonebook I decided to get each contact one by one and internally acknowledge that I got it. Otherwise if you try and grab say lots of 10 at a time I'm not sure why but the BlueSoleil buffer can't seem to handle it and you lose information. Doing it one at a time actually doesn't take that much longer and has a success rate of 100%.

the pan network means you use the bluetooth connection as an internet accesspoint if you have a phone with an internet connection , if you connect pan network you wont be able to make calls

hello folks. Im quite new to RR. couldnt get this plugin working, can you please help a bit?
my computer is win7 x64, installed the latest version of RR, installed BlueSoleil 8.0.395.0, could install another plugin (getting used to configuring RR), using the default skin.
when I run the installer for net bluetooth mobile, it warns me .net is not installed(actually it is installed), dll is not registered. I ignore and continiue the installation and then register the dll manually.
I had to copy few files from somewhere to another, renaming some jpg files to png files to get the plugin skin working. I succeded to some point but now Im stuck.
here is where I am now;
when I start RR, my computer connects to my phone automatically.
I can see that the phone is connected, on the skin "mobilephone_connected"
when I check the plugins interface on RR, plugin seem to be installed and enabled. (like post3 of this thread)
when I click the button I modified (menu3, button2), I see the mobilephone skin.
but none of the buttons on this window seems to function.
when I receive a call, mobile call skin pops up, but no caller id nor number, and I cannot answer or reject the call (again, buttons not functioning)
I dont see any battery or signal strength indicators.
I thought maybe its my lumia causing the mess, tried it with a 3110, result is very same.
I tried a fresh install and also another installation on virtual XP machine, but no luck...
Can someone tell me what am I missing to do?

never mind guys, with another computer xp sp3 installed, it works fine. thanks for this plugin lambosprit.

As a BS 6 or 8 owner you are eligible for a free upgrade to BS 10 , also the CPhone tool is free for BS 10 owners , so thats a double bonus, I installed both , and works niceley.

I havent had my phone connect in RR yet , but maybe on my next boot it will , if not I wil see if I can find out why.
