Thread: .net Bluetooth Mobilephone Plugin

hi I'm putting in the command...below is a copy of it and it's result

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>Regasm "c:\Program Files\RideRunner\MobilePhone.dll" /tlb:MobilePhone.tlb /codebase

in my RR root folder there isn't a file called MobilePhone.dll.......if it is looking for that file, it doesn't exist


am I being think here?????

You need to point to the directory where mobilephone.dll is located.

In my install its located in : "C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Plugins\MobilePhone\MobilePhone.dll"

Check your plugin folder in your RR installation. It should be there if you installed the plugin.

that worked perfect.......now I need to find a skin I like......will this pluging then just link to the phone tab of my the skin I choose?

You need to link the mobilephone.skin to a button on your choosing. This way when you click on that particular button it will load the mobilephone.skin.

For me i opened menu.skin and added the following to my phone button:
"LOAD;MOBILEPHONE.SKIN",""

Now, when i hit that button it will load my mobilephone.skin.

You can do the same think with the skin editor to edit the command so you don't have to browse the menu.skin file.

I think I get what you mean....can you recommend a a good skin to use wit this.......I know some of this comes down to personl tastes but I'd like to just try it out on a more featured skin other than carwings

It really comes down to personal preference and what your looking for in a skin.

......just spent all this time on it and its seems that bluesoleil doesn't support my phone..............bummer.....thanks for your help though....I have learnt a few things through this

One thing to try before you give up completely is to try the Bluesoleil Dialer program off their site. My phone was not listed as supported either, but I was messing with it last night and could make and receive calls using the Dialer.

Now I REALLY want to be able to use a BT headset with this instead of having it go over the PC. That would be perfect for my application. *hint hint*
